  1. Really good trip. Can't wait to see the group photos. Thanks again Peaj for organising.
  2. I've been looking into it, may be able to get cheap(ish) accommodation nearby, doing Alton the day before but may be on this def the yes side of maybe, incase you need to get a list going.
  3. The more the merrier and MattyMoo, I shall hopefully get there for 11:00 ish well just after, I think we'll have time for a cheeky morning pint lol.
  4. MattyMoo sounds like my kind of guy. I'll be in Guildford all night mate, couple of us have got a Travelodge, as I live way up in Cambridge so may aswell stay down for the night.

    TPM Awards 2013!

Oh Liam, that's made me chuckle

    TPM Awards 2013!

I was going to go for a more subtle one Austyn, have TPM on the front and just have this in small on the back, as a sort of 'inside gag'.

    TPM Awards 2013!

Would that go to someone called Turtle per chance?

    TPM Awards 2013!

Ok guys, proceeds going to charity, we shall make shirts based on TPM 2013 awards with the upcoming slogan 'DGC, who is he?"

    TPM Awards 2013!

Good awards although votes for me made a bit of a mockery of TPM as I don't post much so based on meet-ups or skype group calls. DeanGaryCox was obviously rigged. - We shall forever rename this event as COX-gate! (Love how everyone keeps saying 'who's DeanGaryCox') Other minor things that need a mention, Benin does seem to contribute A LOT so deserved more notoriety within the awards I would of thought.

    TPM Awards 2013!

    Who's this DeanGaryCox?
  11. I remember the announcements, although they were terribly cliche sounding. I've always thought Storm Surge was an eye-sore to be honest. It's such an RCT plonk-down job in the middle of the park. More themeing could change that but would it be worth the investment?
  12. Sounds fantastic! I'll definitely be in if there are any spaces left.
  13. Does seem a little odd to wait until then to put it on, it's quite close to the start of the day still, so as you say may as well put on at the start of the day. Other than that, your ride count doesn't seem too shabby in the slightest.
  14. It is actually my favourite ride at Thorpe, with a good cycle it can be great. Fun, fast and intense. Although the parallel parking they do to land the thing again has taken a while at times. I wouldn't mind it just landing the way it already is when it finishes the cycle, but I guess it's down to health and safety.
  15. Highlights from the day, had a blast guys! Thanks again
  16. Thanks for a great Peaj, and an epic birthday, even with the Happy Birthday sing-song in the Th13teen station! lol. Me and The 'Hacksaw' will both be attending another meet soon. Met some cool new cats and had a great time. Have an epic time tomorrow everyone!
  17. 28th is my Birthday! This is my at Splash Landings Saturday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5MfDn_27X0

    Nemesis

Nemesis is a great B&M but the one thing that turbines my tubulars is the bit, after the loop, (and I know I'm nit-picking here), just after going under the queueline bridge and as it turns right its not a smooth banked turn it kind banks then levels out then banks again. Even off ride I think it looks slightly out of place. It's something you don't really notice unless you're knowing to look for it though. Onride its not as noticeable but can still notice. Just a slight imperfection.

    X

I think X is a welcome improvement. Sure it's not too intense and the queueline in busy periods leaves a lot to be desired but I think the ride itself is great, with some nice headchopper moments and close supports to the sides. The music and lights are great. Just don't go in expecting a rip-roaring B&M and you'll be fine
