So just been told that staff members at Drayton were saying Pirates Adventure is done. Obviously it was supposed to be closed for refurb but apparently that's not going to happen because it's too expensive. This means there is no way around the Health and Safety issues that were in the ride when staff members had to check it. Apparently it's going to be cheaper to get rid of it than refurb it entirely. It was also mentioned that the park is now at a dilemma of what will be done with the building but possibly ANOTHER couple Thomas Land attractions. Yeah haha but I've been to Thorpe 5 times in the last two years and Samurai has been down only two days while Slammer was only up for the most recent visit.
