I get what you are saying about no story on Ghost if Merlin really want a back story they should do similar to The Haunting at Drayton Manor, not a particularly good ride but the story makes sense. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

Ok so big news, apparently according to quite a few staff members and hints from one of the managing directors I've been told that a new bigger version of The Black Fly is being installed (presumably a Maelstrom/Flip Flop style Huss Frisbee) as well a new family ride near Tiny Tots kingdom. Supposedly these are for the next couple of seasons as well as the retracking of the in park railway with theming and a small waterfall. Not much to go on but definitely something to watch. I didn't believe this at all at first but now I've realised Black Fly has been down for a while now and it seems there are some missing parts this could be interesting.

DON'T DO IT!. I made that unfortunate mistake last year ;( what it doesn't tell you is that the ride has loose lapbars,you whack your head off the seat no matter how much you try not to AND it goes round twice.

"Thorpe Park has begun work on a large development – a new attraction set to open in 2016. The development will see the closure of Studio 13, the Arena, Mr Monkey’s Banana Ride, Chief Ranger’s Carousel, Calypso BBQ, and the Nemesis Inferno shop. Whether the Ranger County attractions will reopen in other areas of the park is currently unknown, although Studio 13 will probably be located elsewhere in 2015." Got this from TPG a while back.Might be wrong though.

So I saw someone started the topic about Chief Rangers Carousel going but do remember Mr. Monkey's Banana Ride is leaving too. I never got to ride it myself
