After sending a an email to Thorpe asking a few questions one of the answers was that bush bbq is to be used as an event space for the year; assuming this is for TWD stuff. O

Oh and also another maze I went on last year at screamland in margate was a clown type maze That in its final section became really confusing because the clown actors without you knowing hand slid a wall across what is basically the corridor toward the exit essentially trapping you in a section of the maze that in itself had lots of doors but all of them either led to dead ends or put you back in this section you were trapped in. The actors would keep laughing and shouting at you telling us we were all lost and then as more and more people became trapped they slid the wall back across and then the exit corridor could be walked through. Was a real cool idea! The clowns also had these air horns that sounded like an old fashioned car horn that they kept using to scare the nuts off you, these had bright lights attached to them as well that blinded you when they made the car horn noise, was absolutely brilliant.

Tried a maze once at hop farm freak week that was a flow one but you put 3D glasses on, really made for some amazing illusions with props and actors blending into the background etc. However I haven’t seen it since But for me personally strobe lights like the ones in big top that have a large pause between flashes is the best feature because it makes it so disorientating. Smoke machines and strobe lights ?? Also hospital scenes with patients guts open and all over the floor always looks pleasingly disgusting!

A really good video that shows off some of the imascore mixes

Another video containing an insane amount of SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS! I agree it seems like they would want to wait until the public nights start before these become available to view also couldnt find the spoiler tag on my phone so I thought bold and underline would do ?

This was playing Monday when the park shut, I tell you what in the sun with the park empty it was so peaceful with this tune playing! I absolutely love the new soundtracks they've got and the whole spruce up of the park is really noticeable, everything felt so much cleaner and the island theme is really starting to become stronger which is great to see! I recorded this when I was leaving, such a peaceful tropical house track? IMG_4895.MOV

Had no idea loggers leaps music is a remix of a real song ? IMG_4743.MOV

I had a bit of gossip from someone who works for merlin who told me that allegedly Nick Leslau does not want to renew the lease to merlin for Thorpe Park when it is next due, apparently he is interested in running Thorpe Park as his own business or turning it into a housing development not sure which. Allegedly DBGT was an attempt to convince him to want to renew in the future. Obviously this is only rumours and probably has no credible original source. Makes for some wild speculating though.

now I don't know about any of them factors but I'm sure they definitely play a part, but he explained that hollow tubing creates more vibration through the track and on the wheels which transfers up through the train carriage.
-
I got told on a backstage tour from an engineer that the reason intamins and geratlauers are rougher in comparison to B&Ms is because the track itself (two steel tubes that the wheels sit on specifically) is hollow whereas B&Ms tubing is solid steel. He said however this means that intamins & gerstlauers generally can produce more speed with less comfort whilst B&Ms are more comfortable but generally have less speed.

Evidence of this pointing thing they did, randomly all 3 did it for about 5 minutes and didn't move, then came to the fence and just stared, reminded me a bit of some fright nights acting the way they didn't take their eyes off you. Btw black and white was an accident, wasn't sure how to get rid of the filter and I weren't sure how long they would point for ??

Just to mention all 3 in my photo started pointing at us for about 10 minutes and fun fact the guy on the left in my picture is the head of rides, dunno why he's posing as an actor/ ride person

Noticed when I went a few weeks ago at the end of the day engineers were in the same area, and when I went last Sunday I was on the last train and there was an engineer waiting for it to finish and he kept a close eye on the bottom of the lift
