On park atm and they have started putting up the tents on the beach for the big top maze. Looks interesting. Pretty small area to fit a maze imo. But I guess they will have lots of winding paths to fit a good long maze in. I hope. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

There's going to be some sort of mirror maze within the maze... to me that will be pretty cool, especially if they use a mixture of mirrors and see normal glass... The actors can do some damage in there...

As long as nothing gets removed or Rethemed I think this will work out no matter if its a scare zone or maze or even like a parade or more streen ent. But if anything is getting removed for this or just a retheme its not worth getting excited about imo... the popularity of fright nights is huge and Thorpe need to add lots and lots more things to do during the event to reduce queues... ( I waited 2 30 hours for cabin last year) and even though its a good maze and what we would expect, not really wanted especially with no queue line themeing or actors what ive seen last few years... They need to make it more emersive... Like Universal...

I also hope this is sarcastic... Valhala is one of the best rides I have been on in the UK... Hardly any of it is pitch black. The rooms are really well themed and has a great thrill on the drops. Hope Thorpe creates a similar experience of great themed rooms and thrill.

I know that the smiler will most likely be down for a long time now but if it was open tomorrow I wouldn't have any problem going on it straight away. So rare but feel for the people on the rode at the time as it's so strange that it was dispatched with rides on board.

I know a dark ride will be a very great addition to the park and something that has been needed since Witches burned down but only if they do it well. Personally as someone who is 18, thrill lover and doesn't go with family I wanted a new coaster haha. Don't get me wrong though if they can make the dark ride like the quality of Transformers at Universal It will be amazing as transformers is one of my faves. But I really did want a good RMC or traditional wooden coaster around Canada Creek using the BWP and old train station and the start finish point.

I'm the same way as you. Really hate Dr Who... Sure some people will love it but can Thorpe pull it off. I'm hoping for horror or original theme aswell.

Tbh I hope they do use screens. Rides like superman and transformers at Universal are the best dark rides I have been on and need a ride like them in the UK and I think even Europe

Honestly I don't think it looks to bad considering it is only a low investment what I guess they thought about and did in a very short time. Imo it's just a filler to gets people in until next seasons dark ride. Don't expect it to be here very long.

As much as an IP ride could have the potential to have a good ride around it Merlin have proved to have great non IP dark rides in other parks. Plus there's already enough IP'S at Thorpe atm...

I'm hoping it isn't a IP... Merlin have done decent dark ride that aren't a IP such as Duel and hex at Alton and all the laser battles. Thorpe don't need another IP ride and I hope if it is a IP it isn't Dr Who...

Looks 'Dr Whoish' to me... Please please no... Really not a Dr Who fan and personally the majority of the visitors to Thorpe I doubt are either too... Personally I was hoping for more of a horror themed ride but anything but Dr Who imo...

I suppose it fills a gap until 2016 when we get the indoor dark... at least it will uplift a pretty unused area. Not excited though...

To me the second clue really looks like someone sort of carrying a backpack. Like the black outline is the backpack and the middle line is a pocket on the backpack. Just a guess.

Agree... which is why I'm scared in a way as it will probably end up being the 'World's first Dr Who ride experience' or something... I know some people may like the idea of DW but no me.... Really not. I know it won't be but I wish it would be another horror based thing like asylum or walking dead... but it will most likely be family (hoping at least for something like hunger games)

If it ends up being anything Dr Who is will end up going on it once and never again... hate the programme. There's isn't a need for a IP as Thorpe should believe they can come up with something good. Alton did with sub terror. If it is a IP I really don't want a child/family IP... I know it will though. Or a IT'S A SMALL WORLD CLONE

In my ideal world I want a Walking Dead indoor dark ride/ horror attraction. If it is a rollercoaster or just a dark ride ghost train sort oft thing I dont mind as long as it is Walking Dead... Doubt it will happen but Walking Dead ride would be the best thing I would want IMO.
