  1. Personally I found CITW the worst maze at Thorpe Park. Personally I believe the Asylum is the best there and has been since it was first used. CITW didn't have many jumps or scary actors. I found it boring and dull.

    Slammer

I have been there 2 times since slammer has been back open. The ride has been operating all day both days. The ride runs really smooth with no pain and it's comfortable. There's never a queue for It either. Even on the weekends. The only bad problem is that the time it takes to offload and onload again. To long.
  3. They do over use the same feature a bit too much I also believe but overall I agree... really good experience... going uuniversal in a few month so I can compare
  4. I was also really surprised at how good it actually was! I went Saturday and it was a full arena and they got people sat down and started the movie pretty quick. I really enjoyed all the effects in the actually cinema and you actually get soaked.
  5. I went on it as soon as it opened it said 60 mins but actually queued around 20-30.. running well
  6. When I asked them about it at the park today they said the bad feedback we got from yesterday means we will be 'delaying' the trail. So not on today! Getting loads of rides in!
  7. Not open again today... bit annoyed
  8. RnR not running today Got in the park at 9:20 and been on stealth front row, inferno 2 times, Colossus, swarm and rush already!
  9. I personally have a Merlin pass and I doesn't bother me as much if I don't get on as much but as I'm going to be visiting with no pass people they will want to get on as much as possible. As long as we are able to get all 5 major coasters done with one or two flats or water we will be happy... It will be interesting trying to use RnR. No chance on Rush and Vortex probably as they will have massive queues.. Hopefully slammer will be alright along with water.
  10. It seems like it is going to take alot of effort to get on many rides... Even if we use RnR there is nothing else to really do in the park as the flats queues will be massive as a result.
  11. I'm going on Saturday with my cousin who has never been before and we want to at least get on the 5 main coasters.. Now this will be really hard to do with RnR. Any tips on how to get the most done with this system in place

    Slammer

Actually really happy it is finally back open! Back on it Saturday Used to go on it like 3 times a day everytime I went. Sone reason it was always a walk on. Presume it will have a pretty long queue time rest of the season. Can't waituntil Saturday
  13. I'm 6'5' and I still manage to squeez myself into the cars on Colossus... It kills me and I it crushes my balls but I love the ride... They need to get new bigger trains with more leg from and bigger lap bars. I'm not just saying it because of my height, my friends and family who are average size or even 5'6 find it hard to get on Colossus.. Need new trains BIGGER
  14. Went to Thorpe Park yesterday and queued almost two hours for the Swarm... Normally walk on this ride most days.. It was very busy yesterday and there was still only a one train service.
  15. Saw and Colossus always seems to be extreamly busy most days. Weekdays like 30 mins and weekends 60+ mins. Whereas Swarm always has a pretty small queue line. Even last year during Fright Nights I walked straight on to the ride 3 times throughout the day.
  16. Hi, I have been going to theme park in England now for a while and I love rides and anything to do with them. The problem is I am 6'6 and just about fit into most rides at Thorpe, Blackpool and Alton due to leg room on the rides.. Rides such as Colossus at Thorpe hurts even more than it normally does as I am very tightly fit. Rides at Blackpool and Alton seem to have much more room and leg room for taller people and the more over weight people; whereas Thorpe seem to have very little leg room for taller people. I hope in the future rides that English parks put in have more leg room and cater for taller people.. Thanks
