Ride Accidents
If he did that and survived we would happily call him an idiot all day long. Unfortunately he has died and has no doubt left a lot of sadness and trauma for a lot of people, but just because he has died does not change the fact that he WAS and idiot. Dead or alive does not change this status I'm afraid. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Maybe my kids are the exception then. For certain, neither of my kids would have stood in a queue that long without being a nightmare. Kids don't really do patience.Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

I wasn't pretending it's a new situation, I was merely asking who the hell is queuing for it for that long.Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Chessington General Discussion
I don't hate Chessie like some here, but some of the queues at that place are rediculous. Saw a 45 minute queue for Tiny Truckers yesterday. Seriously, who walks up to that ride with a 3 year old and thinks "yep, that's a reasonable queue line"?? It does show how hard Towers have been hit. I did 3 days there last week while on holiday and quite literally walked straight on to a seat on Nemesis, one train wait for Oblivion and a 15 minute wait for Air. Kind of nice but also quite sad in a way. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Project WC16 - New for 2016
The rebrand was only half baked anyway. They still wear the uniform and have signs from the 'massive heads' era. Can't really blame Thorpe for the wasps though, they are literally plaguing everywhere. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

SAW: The Ride
An 80 minute queue at 5.00pm on a weekday is certainly not normal. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

SAW: The Ride
The rest of the park was reading as a significantly shorter queue. I assume it's because everybody twigged that it was operating and rushed over there. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

The Smiler Incident 02/06/2015
We're going a little off topic here, but I'll just chip in that the only coaster that makes me anything near nauseated is Inferno. I come off that ride feeling almost dazed. It's brutal! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

People still attend despite the park not really adding anything new because it is still the Merlin parks down south that has attractions that both the younger children and the older children can get something out of. I can take my 4 year old daughter to Legoland and she will love it but my 9 year old son not so much. However my son is over 1.4m and loves Thorpe whereas there's still not much for my daughter to do for the whole day. Chessington is the default option on those days.

New For 2015?
My son's 9 and has been on Stealth numerous times. Children are getting taller.

Project WC16 - New for 2016
I personally love Doctor Who, and my 9 year old son adores it. This would be a great addition for the park and would certainly help draw the family element into the park. It's pretty much one of the biggest IPs they could get. Still, a bit early to speculate what it is I suppose.

I'm there tomorrow. What were the queues like with so many attractions down?

Thorpe Park Trip Reports
I think Detty is better without the countdown, that whole waiting for it to drop but not knowing when it'll happen makes things far scarier.

Annual Pass Day
Favourite ride of the day has to go to Vortex. I've never seen it ride so high! It was insane! Overall a good day, helped by the fact that the queues significantly died down after lunch. As for that entrance queue, where the hell did that come from? I entered about 15 minutes after that picture was posted and had no queue whatsoever!
