I'm hopeful for 2017, but not optimistic! It is rapidly dropping down the list of top UK themeparks.
They need to do something or Paultons especially will overtake them.
Thanks for the update. It is incredible to see how fast it is coming along. The comparison with Coasterforce's recent update shows this.
It amazes me to think they've scheduled an Easter opening!! There's already trains on the track.
Do they need permission for every ride which goes in? Also, as there was previously a ride there, do they need planning to put a ride in its place?
If my garage fell down, I wouldnt need planning permission to replace it.
Considering the ridiculous queues for some of their small flats, they could install a bouncy castle and it will probably be popular.
I've low expectations so can only be impressed!
Is there any news on this? I've tried to find some recent updates and there isn't much about. Along with Thorpe this seems to be the biggest uk developments for 2016 but is quite quiet at the moment from an update point of view.
I love Chessington but it really saddens me what is happening at the moment. Clearly it is still a popular park but they have had so many operation & reliability issues that the negativity (esp. on facebook) is increasing.
I really hope they sort it out but I can't see their new for 2016 ride being anything spectacular.
