Because the ride turns over alot does it not? What is the point in VR if you just see a black box as soon as you turn over?

I personally haven't experienced Galactica with VR, but judging by other people's complaints I think it needs a full revamp for 2017, and by that I mean just make it an actual 360 video instead of what you get if you use cardboard on a non-360 YouTube video.

So Ive started work on my 5th park in about two days - the others all crashed with lag and/or everything being erased from existence (long story short the game crashed while saving and left me a muddy field), and I wanted to ask your opinions on my (terribly unfinished) entrance plaza so far: Sorry for the rushed screenshots but here is the very DBGT-ey entrance with a lovely Ralfvieh's fountain just in front. The windows have disappeared, but basically to the left will be the path to the hotel eventually, I will also be adding the brick path covers down there. The billboards will also point the way to the hotel and park as well as the welcome. Halloween-ey nightime shot Struggling to come up with ideas though, both name-wise and park-wise.

What happened there? I swear last post before mine Swarm was on about 2 and Rocky was on like 6! I am so confused...

See I would have no problem with Loggers being closed this season IF it was really being redeveloped, and substantial changes made to constitute it being shut for a whole season as opposed to it being done during closed season. But we all know it's being demolished, and that it won't return for 2017. Worst thing is the announcement well get. "Loggers Leap has been a popular family attraction here at our resort for over 27 years now. So it is with deep regret that we must announce it has taken it's final leap. We are as sad as you but we hope you enjoy what takes its place #ByeByeLoggersLeap"

Is it even disputable anymore that most of the GP thinks the Smiler is unsafe? Yes but they don't read all the complaints on the parks Facebook page before they go do they... I mean if you watch any sort of vlog on YouTube, or if Alton Towers trends on Twitter (beneath the news etc) 9/10 reviews won't mention the SBNO rides. Well that's obvious, what everyone is trying to tell you is that's not the reason people won't visit and they are unfortunately necessary.

Read what you just said again. Please. Before they are there, most members of the GP don't research what rides are SBNO at the park. If you ask AT on Twitter most of the time they'll say whats unavailable on that day instead of what's SBNO, and the closed rides aren't on the map. Heck, out of all the GP reviews I have seen on most social media platforms, none of them have even NOTICED the closed rides! No other person in the world reads the complaints on a parks social media pages before they go. Maybe you, but nobody else. Especially not the GP. No. No, they can't. Have you seen how many people claim its unsafe? Maybe, but the thing putting people off of going is the fact that there was a MAJOR CRASH on one of their rollercoasters! Besides, most of these rides wouldn't be closed if not for the Smiler crash!

Yes but it's something they have to do. Yes it is because the people who are concerned don't go... That's not true, my family still had loads to do in July, plus outside of our community not many people even know about the closures. Besides, look at the closures. Sub Terra and Ripsaw weren't family friendly. The Flume and Charlie, yes but Wobble World simply wasn't family friendly, unless your children are under 5. Its still there. In large parts. Maybe not for you, but it's still a very magical place, especially to those who don't know about all the redundancies and closures.

Yes, by cutting costs because they lost money after a major incident, they are in fact trying to run the park down to the ground.

Or we just read it wrong and its either opening next year or never again? It's pretty clear that whatever's going on with Loggers Leap, it's happening out of the public eye. They could've torn up all the ride before the main drop for all we know, to do the second half over the coming months. Whatever's happening, it'd be pretty wrong for Thorpe to claim it's being redeveloped only to close it completely.

The zoo days aren't also charging are they? One thing I know for sure is this will probably be the first year I haven't visited a theme park over the festive period since we got map.

Brentford have unveiled their new badge from next season onwards, don't remember them announcing the nickname change though because that's a wasp, not a bee... Personally, I hate it. Love the current one, it's unique, this one is so bland and is also either ripped straight off our partner club, who I hate, FC Mydjtylland... Or even worse, blatantly stolen off of a designer on Twitter, who designed this for Watford.

Completely agree with everything there, but tbh youd have a heart attack if you saw LEGOLAND's prices. I'm pretty sure MAP holders weren't charged for any Christmas events before, apart from maybe Towers?
