I am Quite new to TPM but will hopefully get to some meets this season as I now have a MAP and I can drive. Do we ever get ERT? looking forward to meeting some of you guys!

1. Nemesis 2. 13 3. Oblivion 4. Air 5. Smiler 6. Spinball 7. Rita 8. RMT For me the only ride that really stands out is nemesis, and I think most people agree with that. I love 13 the theming is great and it is a really good family coaster with even a small bit of airtime on that bunny hop Oblivion packs a lot of punch, it's not that tall but it has decent drop at 180ft. The slow lift hill, the music and storyline really adds to this ride 'welcome to Oblivion'. If only it was a bit longer. Air is not intense but I find it really relaxing and enjoyable. The Smiler is very overated by the GP, it is just inversion after inversion and it gets boring let alone the fact it's a headbanger and just makes me dizzy. Rita is just awful.

Wow!, personally I dont see any problems with this being ready for march. well I hope it is too ready then.
-
the thing is TP don't expect the GP to take a video they posted and break it down and analyse it by editing the video etc. A lot of people were looking at this clue with too much detail and really it was right in front of our eyes
-
Well Done! Nope, TP confirmed that once the 7th clue is done you will automatically be entered in the competition

I think it's only fair to not give clues away, but you are looking at the right video!

a woodie would be perfect for this area! and could be well themed if merlin put in the effort. however, I'm not too keen on the look of intamin lite although my opinion could change once I have ridden one. -

I could really see a Hyper getting installed at Thorpe, this is a coaster that the UK lacks and it would fit in very well at Thorpe especially as they could exceed at least 200ft. Merlin like to market their rides as world firsts but it could be the UK's tallest coaster. -
looking at DA website, they are looking like a strong possibility but really we dont know anything about the ride system (or even if there is going to be one).

A coaster in the canada creek area would fit in really well, especially a woodie. however, they have cleared the land behind swarms island for the next big installation haven't they? I would love to see a B&M hyper or woodie go in here, a mack megacoaster would be good but they have stealth already so I'm not quite sure if this would happen although a mack launch and intamin launch are completely different. -
Just to let you know that the VR headsets are going to be attached to the seats and are not going to be an added charge Merlin looks like they are doing something right for a change.

Any thoughts on TBT being open tomorrow? it better be!
-
not sure if that's good or bad? haha

Thorpe need an RMC or a Mack megacoaster, both are relatively family friendly -
I'll be there Friday 9th and Saturday 10th, hoping the friday won't be too busy!
-
Why is I'm a celebrity not open? possible scare maze?
-
All TP need to do is add smoke machines around the park (especially near the mazes), roaming actors and more theming outside of the mazes and viola - the atmosphere becomes 100x better
-
do you think there is any chance of it opening for fright nights?
-
I agree, visually, the ride looks amazing and does look really intimidating! however, the ride experience is nothing more than average. I came off the ride feeling too disorientated and a bit sick if anything, the ride is just inversion after inversion which doesn't do much for me and the airtime hill is disappointing. nemesis still remains the best ride in the park without a doubt, and also for what it is th13teen is a really good family coaster, really enjoyable with airtime and the drop is a good gimmick.

my guesses are that it will be based on a strong horror/gothic theme, all of the marketing and colours etc have been dark and not to mention that the code name is 'whitechapel16'. I'm not too sure on what gothic IP's there are out there, I guess you could class doctor who as gothic but I really hope that it's not doctor who, plus like people have mentioned doctor who is a very love or hate show. I'm hoping that the theme will be in-house and consists of a good creative story. As for the ride system, any thoughts on it being similar to the forbidden journey at IOA?
