Well, having an opinion on something that you have actually seen in the flesh is very different to having an opinion on something that you've never seen before. I cant stress how important wording is on forums. For example, you said 'Universal is overrated' as opposed to 'Universal seems/looks overrated.' The latter clearly explains that it is based on POVs/ images/reviews rather than personal experience.

Jupiter is the worst planet ever. I've never been there but I've seen some POV's and it looks way overrated...

Whilst I agree that this will probably themed to Mutiny Bay, we don't know that for a fact. Even though the entrance is in Mutiny Bay, it could still be Katanga Canyon themed, or it could be part of a whole new land with absolutely no relevence to pirates.

June the 17th is my guess for opening... 2016, that is.

I love Nemesis Inferno's. It's catchy, yet not annoying and the atmosphere it creates as you enter the station is amazing.

The Smiler's bores the poo out of me - being in a 3 hour queue with that in the background is the worst.

Colossus repaint and new trains (those on altair). Also, retheme of X, with a new exterior making it look like a proper pyramid and just make it more Aztec like. 2020 - major Rumba refurbishment and an air race replacing samurai 2021 - Mack multi launch using terrain on the island behind the swarm with a Japanese myth theme and new zamperla disk o in this area.

How are they measuring the intensity of the 'world's most intense LSM launch'? G force?

I genuinely find Saw more rough than Colossus. In my opinion, Colossus is the superior of the 2.

Join the club, it's just a sandwich isn't it? Another confession: I find Stealth boring. I used to be like you miles, very excited, nervous and those lights going from red to green would petrify me - this was why I used to love it so much. For 3 years is was my favourite coaster, but one day in May, I rode it thrice, and I was with friends who didn't appreciate Stealth. We kind of got on it without realising and it no longer gave me that thrill and excitement. After 30 rides, it doesn't fulfill my need for thrills anymore.

You don't really notice the corpse too much. It's those axes and the spikes board beneath it that give me the creeps. To be honest, I don't really like horror as a theme for rides. Dark themes are fine, but Horror just isn't for me. I will ride DBGT though.

True. Though I haven't ridden any 4d coasters, I don't think they're up to much. Are the S&S and Arrow 4Ds better than the Intamin ones?

I'm not suggesting that you sugar coat your criticisms, I'm suggesting that you turn you criticisms into constructive ones - so, Thorpe can improve. I also agree that the prices are "way to high", but if that is the case then saying "these prices are way to high, if they lowered them the park wouldn't find that they would have happier customers and therefore an increase in business" could be seen as more helpful. I'm sorry if I'm being really patronising here by the way!

I agree with your final comment, however can I just clarify what I meant originally. I was never, for one minute, saying that we "can't" criticise them. I was saying that I personally don't believe that they deserved to be criticised to this extent (by which, I mean the sheer quantity of posts). Of course, you have every right to criticise if you feel like that is what is needed - I just don't believe that Merlin have done anything to trigger these 1 and a half pages of criticism. Also, if you are making critism, if you feel it is necessary, then I think there is something very important about the wording of it as it can sound very negative. For example, I believe that saying "Merlin could be better if they lowered their hotel prices" is much more helpful than "Merlin's hotel prices are way too high". Anyway, my point was simply that I didn't feel Merlin merited this bombardment of critism. (But then again, that's all down to opinion). Regarding Maria's final paragraph, I agree completely. Happy customers are paramount to a companies success.

Will this be their 3rd drop tower? I feel like if this park gets one more decent coaster, it would have a much larger appeal. Something compact like a skyrocket.
