  1. It's a big wet turd too. I've already mentioned this but I wonder if John Wardley will have had a say. He loves dark rides. I know he's retired but never say never. It says 1000's of experts and one of them could have been him. It's more likely it was Tony from your local corner shop though.
  2. Looks good until you see storm turd and x's pyramid in the background. I really think Thorpe should add themed sectors to make the park more immersive. You have a volcano, a jungle, a turd, a pyramid and an abandoned railway station all 100 feet away from each other.
  3. Thanks Ian. I like to think I'm realtively well-behaved but I'll try to think about that when posting.
  4. I for one wouldn't really want TPM merchandise.
  5. In my opinion, the more B&Ms the better. I'd love a park with a hyper, floorless, dive, stand up, invert and a flyer. Sea world has 3 of the above!
  6. So, I went yesterday and really enjoyed it. The squid on Oxford street was really striking. The elephant was impressive and best of all was the jumping men which I could have watched for hours. Only down sides were the staff shouting in your face and the bitterly cold weather .I shall Post some pictures tomorrow.
  7. Will Thorpe Park's logo ever go along to blue and orange? I think it's only had the fright nights theme because of DBGT.
  8. I agree with Josh that the name is a bit of a mouthful. I suppose you could abbreviate it to DBGT although it does sound like a certain cr*ppy ITV talent show.
  9. Yes that's Mephisto. A.K.A Derren's Parrot.

I think you should confer to TPM's resident steel painting expert.
  11. Taste? A Big Mac that someone has left on the train. I was wondering if Mr. Wardley may have had a say in this attracting. He could have designed some illusions and pieces of theming. I know he's retired, but he's already come out of retirement once.

^ because putting the primer on first will give it a battered look.
  13. I've done it! Blatant is an understatement.
  14. I too can't find it. I've been looking at that model train for 10 minutes now....
  15. I don't think I've ever been so disappointed.
  16. I think it's Mak-O.
  17. This is me.
  18. Some of my personal favourites... I covered some names for privacy reasons.

Well, if Alton have given TLC to X-sector and now Forbidden Valley, surely the Dark Forest will be next. The kind of TLC that I'd like in The Dark Forest is getting rid of both current rides and replacing them with completely new ones.
  20. I literally spend half of my free time correcting those who think they know everything about WC16 on Instagram. On another note, isn't @themepark.international James Algood?
  21. Hardly an education if you aren't writing with a stylus on ipads.
  22. Nothing new, but the countdown is at 2.
  23. My Primary School gave every pupil an ipad and we also had 30 imacs.
  24. Patience is a virtue which I don't have.
  25. ^But Piraten looks incredible.
