Has it been mentioned this ride is called Oblivion yet?!

February Half Term 2015
Towers runs it rides appropriately - Air would be walk on with 2 trains, or a maximum 15 minute queue during Half Term. Oblivion (when it was open) tended to run on 4 shuttles. Hopefully they'll get Blivs open this year, but who knows. It's only cos they don't help themselves - selling fastrack at the entrance of one train operation rides, encouraging Fastrack sales over social media as a battle against short queues - their pathetic excuse for 1 train operation (it's best to say its not available rather than "to save energy"). Then again, thorpe has jobs open for mechanical and electrical engineers, and an electrical TL at the moment. So they're hopefully beefing up their department.

February Half Term 2015
I wonder what capacity the park has set itself then? If their capacity over Fright Nights was about 17k? Alton gets a reported 7k in February Half Term when busy. I doubt Thorpe could get anywhere near that, so what's their capacity? 3k?! It is a silly thing to do anyway - regardless of what pass you have it's silly to charge people for a lesser offering than in main season. The cheaper passes are designed to get you into loyalty - despite how many times you expect to use it in the first year. It's the whole renewal "wanting to keep" pass and "maybe upgrade for more options" then. First year doesn't matter if they visit a lot or not - you just need to make the passes worthwhile enough for them to keep paying or maybe upgrading for better experiences.

February Half Term 2015
No Fastrack is available during FHT at AT. Considering Thorpe sell fastrack every day of the year, at the same levels regardless of busyness or one train operation, I imagine they'll try and sell it in Feb. £5 for standard Passholders for about a quarter of the lineup is lols though.

Disneyland Paris
Foods ridiculously expensive. Think 13 euro for a basic Quick Service meal (so burger, chips and drink) There isn't really any upcharges at disney. Obviously the usual like merchandise etc. Just expect to spend a lot on food.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland
Sod the hatred for Air (it's an awful ride, would prefer a topscan actually). It allows contactless payment. It was exciting.

Storm Surge
I look forward to it leaving Thorpe. It must be pretty obvious that out of all the attractions, this is destined to have one of the least amount of time left at the park.
-
Stealth
The pond is just another one of thorpes unsuccessful attempts to make a water feature. For some reason they like to try adding them to their attractions, but have failed to complete post inferno.

Gardaland
It's poor. I do feel sorry for Garda being under merlin ownership (then again looking at what attractions it had pre-merlin suggests it wasn't that great to start with..)

Alton Towers News
With this they'll have 3 types of accommodation, a Conference Centre, Spa, Waterpark, Golf, Treeclimb thing AND a theme park. It's a resort!

New For 2015?
It's been confirmed Pizza Hut has gone anyway, through Thorpe Park Jobs website. They're recruiting for a Pizza Pasta manager to run their new restaurant.

SAW: The Ride
Imagine its risk assessments. Makes sense not to have a hundred or so people queuing on all the stairs in that building.. cos if you need to evac then the only way to do it is going back down the same stairs.

Project WC16 - New for 2016
Unsure if you've seen Flug or Raptor - they have the merge host let in a set amount of people each side so they're batched from there. No need to freeflows.

Storm Surge
Just shows the attitude of Thorpe and it's staff then. If there's something which is causing frustration and irritation to guests, and nothing can be done about it (there's something which could be done, but it'd involve spending money...) then you get rid of it. Unfortunately Thorpe is very good at keeping the Status Quo and ensuring their staff do the same thing. If it's still being moaned about, it's still an issue. Therefore things should still be looking into and resolving. Innovative and fast moving mate.

It's this but without the talking... It's also played in Box Office:

Project WC16 - New for 2016
He's making a comparison to your beloved pleasure beach . Old characters don't suit the park, it'd require a huge retheme so sod it, removal is all good.

Opening Times
Completely forgetting that 3 weeks ago the park was shut as of today. They've extended the park opening until the 9th, so a bit of slack.. Probably dead too, so 4pms are fine.

Didn't notice you were there - even if I did, wouldn't have been able to see you from the smoke! Yes, it was essentially just last year. So in that aspect it was lazy. I was wondering how they would end it, so in that aspect I thought it worked okay (considering the ending lasted 3 hours in the hotels). Would love something similar to continue happening, but storyline would need improving. Something which fits into Towers history would be quite good too.

Closed Rides
Project LC has a point. I've been watching this (very useful) queue-times.com website. Colossus, Stealth, Samurai and Slammer have had awful reliability. So awful that most of those are closed and expected to be closed. A casual observation from my previous visits, friends visits, their social media and this forum suggests the park opens more times than not on one train operation, regardless of how busy it is. Issue? Obviously the engineering department. Don't have enough staff? Hire some. You can even get agency workers. Want some trained up? Get some apprentices. Want to have a decent reliability? Sort yourselves out. There's a huge issue, and one which I'm increasingly getting irritated by those who defend it. It's not defendable. There's no way that coasters can have an 'issue' with one train which results in it appearing out of the garage at almost the same time every single day. That's due to piss poor operations. However, I take my stance with not visiting. I just fully agree with the negativity and hope thorpe sort themselves out before they destroy everything they've got going for them (which isn't much, as they've destroyed their reputation over the past 5 years anyway. Hence the situation they're in now). But considering they're spending all their time on half arsedly sorting out their marketing, without any improvements to the day guests, I don't think they'll be improving for some time. But yay for Chessington. They've managed to sort themselves out. New management plz.

New For 2015
On topic of Falls - I've noticed in all their marketing now they have a tree and something else blocking the old heads on the falls rockwork. Slow to photoshop, but funny that they have.

Was on the same Altonville as you Stretchy! Did you enjoy it?

Nemesis Inferno
Apparently not. A photo from it's opening year found on googles. The rockwork will protect you when looking from the lockers area. That's exciting apart from anyone who used to go on da TP express or now do blair witch.
