As some of you may be aware, the purchase price of a Thorpe Park Annual Pass at the moment is only £51.50, which I think is a ridiculously low price if one can make use of it more than two times in a year. 

 

As my current pass doesn't expire until June next year, and suspecting the price may go higher again, I contacted the TP office to establish that If one pays online and picks it up at the park, it starts on the day of collection, if one has it delivered it starts on the day of purchase. I will be buying mine this weekend and it will start after mid-June next year.

That is a damn good bargain which I would have got had I not got my MAP last month - isn't that the same price as gate price?

Just FYI, I got mine March/April this year for £40... but who knows if they will do that sale again in the new year!!!!!

Isn't there a certain time limit in which you have to redeem the annual pass after purchasing it? So say I paid online today, don't I have to redeem it within the next 6 weeks or something like that?

Whenever I've bought a Merlin Annual Pass in the January sale I've waited until June time to pick it up as it starts from the pickup date. I'm not sure if there is a cutoff point or not

You have six months I believe to collect it from when you purchase it.

Thanks for that though I gave them the dates when I spoke with them, I will ask regarding that.

Not far above the full gate price though I doubt that many pay that.
