Single Riders

Do single rider queue lines even exist anymore at Thorpe Park? I remember seeing it a few rides when visiting a few years back but I haven't seen them since, could just be that I haven't looked out for them - does anybody know which rides still have them to this day?

There are no more SRQs at Thorpe.

 

They were gotten rid off a good 5-6 years ago, before randomly reappearing on Samurai a couple of years back. That didn't last long and I don't expect the park to reintroduce them any time soon.

They are a useful tool for the staff if they are having to push for full loads, not so much recently.

They also seem to need "managing" so with lower staff numbers, not always suitable.

Unless this has changed from literally a couple of weeks ago Samurai still has the single rider queue.

Ah, I didn't realise it was still there tbh. There's no effort made to advertise it (aside from one sign I guess?), and it's probably hardly ever used. Just assumed due to lack of use they'd given up with it!

Cheers guys - it really is a shame to see the fact it barely exists anymore, I thought it was brilliant when I was a teen!
