MikeC
'Six Flags Astroworld' Slightly gives it away.
Dan9
No, I meant that I thought it was not owned by six flags and just wanted someone to answer me. I could be thinking of a different park called Astroworld. When I saw SIX FLAGS Astroworld I was confused.
James
Well Astroworld is owned by no-one cos it shut down at the end of 2005.
Loz
Like what? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I really dont know .... its such a small space not much could. maybe if they could fit it in one of the rides like UG swinger at Alton Towers ?? Dan9
Theres more space than that.
Loz
Theres more space than that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> what do you think could replace it then ?
MikeC
No. UG swinger type rides are crap. You could fit any of the following in the space provided:-A drop Tower-Move It-Top Scan-Top Spin-Booster-Boomerang-Break Dance-Flying Carpet-Pirate Ship-Sky SwatI would personally like to see a well themed Top Spin in it's place.EDIT: I take it back, a Huss Jump 2 couldn't fit. Dan9
Yeh, Alton and Chessington have one. Why cant Thorpe? Agree with Seb.

Don't be silly Break Dance I actually like the idea of that. Nice little family rides and can be quite thrilling! Drop tower- no thanks we have Detty. Thorpe would not be able to keep up with the capacity of a Move It so nah
Dan9
He was saying what you can fit in that space not what Thorpe could get by getting rid of Zodiac. What is a Huss Jump 2?
Alex
There are loads of rides that could fit in Zodiac's place, but not half of the ones you listed.Just going by the stats I could find, a Huss Jump2 would fit, but more clearance would be needed around the ride than I think is currently available. MikeC
I was just making the point of what you could potentially put it. I know you probably couldn't fit in a Huss Jump, and I revoke the three rides.
James
I think this should give an idea of how big the Zodiac area is.
MikeC
Yea. A I have mentioned on Southparks before, If you took out Thorpe Mega Store, and OG, you could fit another X in.
Dan9
A lot more space than we first thought then. As I think a Top Spin should go there then it will have a lot more space than it needs so it could have a single-rider queue and fastrack for it. There could also be theming just like seb said. Alex
Chessington has a Top Spin, Alton has a Top Spin. They really arn't that amazing, and the space could be put to much better use.
Con
I went on Zodiac years ago and found it abosultely awful! yet at the end of the season I went to eneterprise at Alton Towes and found it really cool wick wicked forces and my friend getting mangled in it. Loz
I noticed that on the attraction listing on the TP website that zodiac is not on it ? Just wondering if this means that its not returning ?
James
Been like that since the end of 2005 season dear
Ash
I really want Zodiac to be painted the way it was. Does anyone know or think that Thorpe will?
MikeC
Budget Cuts Simply. In short, No.
Ash
Never mind. Am sure they will eventually paint it. It really doesn't fit in with Lost City, thats all.
Knight rider
This was the first ride of it's kind that I'd been on and I really wasn't sure about it, the idea of having no restraints freaked me out abit and I thought to myself what if it dosn't build up enougth speed and momentum? I'll just come flying out my seat and crack my head open on the roof of the carraige, but once the ride was in full flow I luved it, I found it quite relaxing compared with the other spinning rides and almost found myself dozing off! My word you don't half feel dizzy when you get out though!
Pickles
One bad thing about it is if you get your legs in the wrong position it may hurt when the forces take place.
Phyciodes
I must say I personnaly find zodiac quite intense. I acctualy find it to be more of an intense ride that samurai, samurai no longer seems to thrill me, still fun though
