Almost 17.I plan to work at Chessington & Zoo on a weekend day whilst at College and maybe University. However, I am working my way to become a Teacher of English or French. (Probably English).Chessington & Zoo still has to be a must as a job aswell though!
Paul
As for me, I really have no idea. I have many keen interests, so the best thing for me to do for now is to pursue those interests, until one of them turns into a career. I play drums and piano, so I might possibly want a career in performance. I do a lot of acting, so that might be another option. I play a lot of tennis also, so that might open up another career for me. I am 15 years old at the moment, so I will just keep up all of my hobbies/interests, and see where they take me! James
Anyone else got any ambitions that don't involve theme parks? ;)I wanna be a train driver tbh. Doing platform assistance / guard work at the moment so hoping to apply for driving when I turn 21. Guard / Platform assist work is good enough for me now though. treeis
I live and breath theme parks so yeah, I want to design Rollercoasters for companies like Intamin or B&M. Little adventurous I suppose but still...I'd also like to work at Chessington or something when I am 16.
themeparkmad
Anyone else got any ambitions that don't involve theme parks? This is a theme park forum James! ;)Most people probably will want to work at a theme park, whether for a short time or as a career.
Paul
I would definitely love to work in a theme park (Chessington or Thorpe) as a part time job while I am at school/university etc, but I wouldn't consider working in a theme park related job full time. Couldn't stand sitting in front of a computer for hours on end really.I want something to do with coaster designing to be honest. A designer or an engineer really. Is basically my dream job. However, quite a few people say I'd make a good Maths teacher...

Matthew
Disney are always wanting international workers to work at their parks, many of our family friends have done it lots of times, from what I've heard its pretty simple.
Paul
It's much easier than getting a job at Thorpe Park for example, due to the sheer size of the Disney corporation. Think of all the jobs needed to run just one park, let alone the many other attractions.
Matthew
Yeah it's definitely easier to get a job at THORPE PARK, but I specifically don't want to work there. But reading up in advance is always good: Disney International Programs
Will
Mine's a long post because I have had many career decisions and changes:When I was younger I wanted to be a singer / actor. I used to perform around the house, perform in school plays and sing with friends. I found / find very easy to learn songs and learn things and can often remember what people say word for word and chunks of information. When I was in High School, I wanted to be a Physicist as I really liked Science. I was very extremely good at it and used to get some of the highest marks in my class. I liked Maths and found it fun to solve problems and when making big calculations, I liked dissecting them. When I'm older, I want to be either an actor / songwriter and I am really good at this, since I'm creative and I have a really good imagination. I have been told that my acting ability is innate and it comes from the emotions, feelings and experiences I have and I am able to channel them through. And that when I am calm, I am able to recite monologues, speeches and solioquys from Shakespeare very well and they are very believable. If I don't have a career in Performing Arts, I would like to have a career in Business, in Advertising carrying out Marketing and Marketing Research or one day having a director-type position in a corperation. Gemma
I want to work in the Medical field, I do want to be a nurse but I do know a teacher of mine and my Mum want me to be a doctor =PI am thinking of becoming a General nurse though and then go on to specialise in Mental Health. I think I would find that interesting because members of my family have suffered with bad mental health (if that makes sense) and I have coped well with it and I would like to give something back.
