Loggers didn’t closed because it was in disrepair though - it was more because im guessing they didn’t get the budget to make all the modifications which falls has seen. I do fully believe at its time of closing the plan was genuinely to reopen it.

It could literally be anything - looking at queue times is a bad way of working out a tides reliability - things like cleaning up sick / weather delays would mean they show as closed. As for inferno it does seem to have had more shutdowns this year so far than it usually would - Hopefully what ever the issue it can be sorted soon!

The 40th anniversary merchandise is very nice!

Vortex is running so well now - it had a few years where it really struggled to get full height but now it’s as good as new - looks great too with the arms all being freshly painted too!

Aha I remember when they used to play The Noise park wide at the end of the day *shudders* ... I agree the shark hotel music does work well as an end of day track - that said the original one isn’t a bad bit of music either although not sure how much it suits anymore. Have also noticed Colossus / Lost City, Inferno and the Entrance playing shorter versions of their full tracks which is a shame along with the dome and shark hotel music mixed up. On that subject Colossus station has also had its ambient track switched to the ones with the birds which was used back in 2007? The original is much better IMO and goes with the announcement better. On the flip side the entrance Musics been turned up which was much needed! Saws outdoor queue finally has audio back too. Noticed The Swarm station audio was again much louder today which was good to hear! Hopefully the shorter / mixed up tracks is a easy fix!

This is actually being constructed by the same company as who did the Crystal maze experience if anyone here has done that!

Maybe they have taken them off sale now - but you could buy them but the park are strongly encouraging you don’t - your better off buying the standard refills which I think are actually cheaper!

Obviously not ideal - more so for the park than anything! but it’s good to see how popular it’s proving - the kinks will be ironed out and be good to see merlin roll them out more across all their parks!

As I said there’s plenty of capsules - but the park are recommending you don’t purchase as the only refills available are the standard Fanta / coke etc from F&B units. No not every single machine has ran out of every single drop of syrup - but the choice is so limited they’ve taken the choice to close them and recommend guests not to purchase them.

Lets get the facts right before we go running to report the park and looking silly... The capsules are not sold out (if they were to sell out the machines would remain open) - the mixing syrup is what’s sold out which is why machines are closed - if you are to buy a cup today you can refill them at f&b units (although the park are recommending not buy a cup today due to the lack of freestyle offering!)

That exact question has been on the surveys for the last 3 or so years now... would be nice mind if it did happen!

Yeah that’s always been one of the differences between an “annual” pass and a “season” one since they were introduced I believe.

Have you actually seen it working at the park this year? Not seen it work since the end of 2017.

Don’t get me wrong, im not saying the park don’t have its problems, but I wouldn’t say it’s quite at the soul destroying level! I do disagree though - personally think The Walking Dead retheme of X was executed brilliantly and was their last solid investment!

Rides close, they don’t last for ever (especially slammer..) Ghost train was added, as well as 2 rides for kids, Rumba is rumba agree it needs work, Saw alive isn’t “sinking”or it wouldn’t open. As I said, Thorpe has its problems but I think people can be abit extreme...
