I'm 5ft 1 so I get the restraints right by my head and a beautiful concussion when I ride this ride.

Because most other rides are fine.

  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=mg0s3CDkbvQ Watch this, it's perfect for how people see me. Just because I am not ladylike does not make me any less of a woman and people need to realise that around my area. I'm fed up of hearing but you don't count as a woman or yeah but that does not apply to you. Or even just plain but you're not a woman. I am a woman and the sooner people stop telling me I'm not the happier everything will be.

Just for the record that could have been a situation like mine. On a really bad day it can take up to 4/5 people to be around me with my asbergers. If I flip out then I need people to restrain me and people to calm me down. However on a good day I can queue quite happily and not freak out or flip out. That's why it's a maximum of 3, because sometimes people need extra help. I personally don't go to theme parks on a bad day and I cancel last minute usually but that's the way it is. I have been on a bad day and I was fine because of who I was with but it was risky. Just to let you know.

I was talking about buckling belts as a procedure that would become a priority over looking at queue lines. Please don't ever get a job in a theme park if you think that following procedures is less important than anything else. Next point is, different rides and different manufacturers. Your using one specific ride as an example instead of considering that others have different restraint systems. Shocking that is isn't it?

They try and update them as much as possible but sometimes it's not possible as they have to do their job. Focusing on making sure people are correctly buckled into their seats on rides is a bit more important than updating the queue line. It's like where I work, I have to make sure we have enough clean glasses but if a customer comes along and wants a drink then I have to stop and serve them. The priorities part of work means that sometimes things get left. They do try though.

    Yay more world cup hype

Also they sometimes ask people who have been queuing. As well as people telling them which then gets radioed over to the appropriate people etc.

And your ignoring the fact that when it's have uptime, people have generally enjoyed it. The general public that is. I wonder if you'll ever run out of opinions? We can only hope.

No ones paying attention to when it's been open. Just closed.

Didn't realise that it opened 2013 and not been open since 2005 Are you paying attention to anything that people say? Or just being your usual self?
  16. Pickles replied to Artie's topic in The Past
I never said it was a popular ride. I said that it brings people in. Many of my friends know of Slammer as more than the ride that go stuck upside down, well except for 2 that we're on it once when it broke down. I know people who make sure they ride it when they go if it's open. You generalise without thinking about the actual guests opinions. This whole forum does. Never said ever.
  17. Pickles replied to Artie's topic in The Past
Actually I do see it from a business point of view and for all we know S&S may charge a lot less than we think due the fact it's now a one of a kind and the parks kept it. The point of that is, as far as the park sees it, it's a ride that brings people in. How much they have to pay to get it fixed obviously doesn't bother them or it would have been gone ages ago. Not to mention this is the first major downtime it's had in a little while. Businesses care about profit, if fixing it doesn't cut into the profit then they really won't care.

They won't keep a ride that still pulls in guests? Or a ride that when it works works well.
  19. I don't care about the outcome and I didn't vote. I didn't vote because I found that none of the parties had anything on the table that I felt warranted a vote. I've told off by plenty of people for not voting but end of the day it was my opinion and my choice.

    I demand a re-count!
  21. It's a discussion forum, with multiple opinions. Bland and negative suits this post, my response is above. I for one am looking forward to this, purely because I love angry birds, that's the whole point isn't it? The guests love angry birds so it's a step in the right direction in relation to getting more guests. Only we are the ones that analyse everything but we're not the general public, we make up about 1% of the people that go. Imagine young kids walking into the area, they will love it. Surely that matters rather than picking holes and stuff. Like it's been said, they've followed the plan and yet it's still not right?

Hey your 20 miles from me
  23. I know exactly what you mean, I'm quite full on cause I am hyperactive. Most people just labeled me as annoying so I got fed up and went into sarcasm as a friendship career and now I'm just labelled as a b!tch. I'm also super honest so I do get misunderstood as many people here will probs know. I've gotten to a point where if someone judges me then I just let them, they can have their opinion, they don't know me and won't ever know me really. Many times I've had oh your not as bad as I first thought. I always try and make sure I know people before I judge them, unless you know they really are mean or straight up say 'I've heard a lot about you and I know your annoying/hyper/a b!tch'
