LEAVE MY EX BABY ALONE!! :DI've had a fast teacup but I still prefer Vortex...I mean there is only so long you can experience turbo teacups before getting bored and having a painful neck from the force! I mean at first it is like "Whoaa!" and all forceful but I always get used to it quickly and then get bored :DIf you get top seat on Vortex, you get airtime and if it's my first ride it makes my stomach go over :PIt's also the most reliable ride in the park (not an official stat or anything but it's obvious). It behaves itself.

I honestly thought this year was going to be a good year, not like the pile of s**t that was 2009...but so far I'm not sure :(Yesterday my dad called me for a chat and told me he will probably be made redundant. He works as a research scientist for GlaxoSmithKline in Harlow, worked for the company for many years. 380 jobs are being axed (it was on the news as well). There might be jobs at another plant but he doubts he'll get anything :(Then today, my mum hears back from 2 jobs she applied and had interviews for. One of them was for Virgin Atlantic, she's worked there before and done really well. She didn't get the job, or the other one that she applied before. So now, it's not just me, brother and mum unemployed, it could be my dad as well! Oh and my uncle (mum's brother) might lose his job...I feel sad for my brother as well, he went to uni, he shouldn't be unemployed! F***ing country...Then there's the useless JobcentrePlus and Department of Work and Pensions...been waiting since October to hear about some assessment results (don't feel like going into detail about it though, kinda personal) and if I've "passed" my money will go up and they will backdate the pay. I've waited ages for it because they have a stupid big back log and can't bloody cope with it. So far, assuming it went ok, they owe me £1165.50 backdated pay!! It's disgusting people have to wait so long for something that is really quite simple :(It's not just the money though, it's waiting to hear! Even if I "fail" the dam thing, at least I'll know and can act on it! I'm stuck until I find out! Mind you if they say no I'm gonna appeal, cos they shouldn't be saying no really...but I don't really wanna go into it anymore than that on here So I'm hoping with all this bad news over the past two days, tomorrow will be third time lucky and there'll be some good news, hopefully my results! They said it should be within these few weeks that I hear.

I'm fed up with people moaning about EMA. I got it, I got the full amount. I got it because I lived with my mum and she had a low income/been in and out of work due to health problems. Hell I'll be honest, money hasn't been the luckiest thing in our lives for the past few years. When I say I have no money, I really do NOT have any money. Which is another rant itself - people claiming they have no money and then buying stuff or going out! Grr! :PBut anyway, not only that, but I really did need it to pay for travel to college, to buy lunch (either to take with me or buy at college), trips, etc etc. If I didn't have EMA, well I don't know what would have happened tbh...So I just feel people really need to think about others before having a go at them! Because there are families and single parents just about getting by and so EMA is vital. But as usual there are cheats out there who do, unfortunately, take the p!$, and everyone focuses on them, which makes genuine people like me look like money-grabbing thieves. :DNone of this is aimed at anyone one here obviously, I'm talking about people in general, but seeing as I'm aware there are college-age people on here...apologies if it causes offence or anything like that. But I hope people understand my point of view and don't take it the wrong way :DEdit: Paul and tpkabz - I hate that on MSN!! Especially when I'm typing a message! Surely they noticed that it said I was writing a message? Grr!
  9. Being a huge Harry Potter fan I've been looking forward to this since I heard about it...and seeing the pictures is making me even more excited! :)They show some of it and discuss what's going to be there on the Half Blood Prince DVD extras too, Hogsmeade looks amazing!! The only trouble is when do I actually get to go? Money Assuming a holiday to Orlando isn't cheap...But I WILL go some day so I can still look forward to it

Congratulations to Mikey, Ricky and Keith!
  12. Haha you're the first person that noticed that I should've just been brave and said it out loud, just to hear Big Brother's reaction Can you imagine it..."No, Big Brother does not require you to be ready for the raging Vortex.":PI wanna do this trip again!!
  13. This is how you'll make it through...
  14. Awesome day, I agree it was definitely one of the best TPM meetups!Highlights:Riding a giant turtle And the second one having to be edited as the background was visible at the front of the turtle...meaning the staff member had to zoom in to where I was...with my random face and random socks :PThe random film about sharks that no one cared about (well in a nice way)...and the random guy speaking on the PA =|Trying to "race" some of the others on the tube but ending up getting random trains and not really getting anywhere...then going straight from Bank to Waterloo lol.Big Brother diary room when the first group mentioned TPM and it replied "Big Brother is aware of Thorpe park Mania...Big Brother is not a member." Shoe-throwing and abuse with our group haha...Big Brother comparing itself to a Dalek...me saying "Einstein has cool hair" and BB replying "Yes, Einstein is indeed cool". And last but not least "Yes, Big Brother does enjoy the baubles!" OH and me swearing on our one when the music started!Trying to find Nando's and finding something else called Amanos or something...can't remember what it was called!"Keep walking, we will find a Tesco eventually" :)Two funny events involving lifts: the first one being at Sealife when we didn't achieve anything by using the lift and ended up on the same floor!Second time was legendary: at Madame Tussauds where the lift doors wouldn't shut and Marc called out "Can you push our button?" to the lady! :PWow I seem to have used the word "random" a lot! Too tired to think of other words to use right now!
  15. Should anyone read this...I'm getting a later train as I'm running late :)However I should be there on time still...but probably bang on 10. Or maybe a few minutes late. So don't go without me
  16. NO NO NO.Rob went on that Booster at Leicester Square the other night and he said it was absolute rubbish :)Sooo it might not be worth it...might have just been bad luck...but thought I'd worn you :PEDIT: Leicester Square is kinda in the middle of all the places we'll be. As shown in this map I just edited:
  17. I'M A YES NOW! :)All thanks to Facebook! I mentioned that I may be going on my status...and in return was directed by a friend to Southernrailway.com where I could get my train ticket for half price! Woop! It's probably raining tomorrow as well incase anyone wants to know Not that we couldn't have predicted that!I'll be at Waterloo at about 9:45. I'm guessing we're meeting somewhere near the entrance? I know the station quite well but I'm confusing parts of it with Victoria and for some reason thinking there are two entrances
  18. Ok change of plan I may come on Saturday :PI may be slightly "richer" lol.Not sure about Winter Wonderland yet in terms of paying for rides etc but I'll come along and watch and take photos and blah blah :PAlso please note:"Winter Wonderland offers thrills for all ages and temperaments. Tokens for the rides & attractions are bought on the day at the booths dotted around the event and start at just £2 and there is no charge at all to visit Santa." woo!The rides list for the O2 is random...Vintage Dodgems, Vintage Octopus...Vintage Dive Bomber! Dunno but it made me laugh! :PSo yeah for now I'm a maybe but hopefully I'll be a yes!
  19. I totally forgot about this! =\If I'd remembered I could've delayed paying my mobile bill til next week when I get more money :)But yeah that didn't happen so now I have under £10 so I could actually afford one day (Saturday)which would be the travel costs, but then I'd have no money for food or anything else...so realistically, I can't make it.:PThis sucks...I haven't seen anyone since the last day of the season!

This whole thing with Gary Mckinnon being extradited is getting a joke now. Why is it so hard for them to realise that:1) He didn't fully understand what he was doing and was only doing it to find information, not to deliberately hack into it/cause trouble, and2) No matter how much they're going to make sure they "meet his needs" they're not going to achieve that because he has Asperger's. They cannot cope with change, they have to do things a certain way, have routines etc...you can't just send them to another country and expect them to adapt and cope!!I can't actually explain on here how annoyed I am because I'm THAT annoyed!! I fear people won't understand my point :)But I think it's just sick and an absolute disgrace...as my brother described it, "Could there be a more inhumane and compassionless decision ever made?"GRR.

WHERE ARE ALL MY POSTS GOING?! Seriously everytime I post in the "SAW attraction 2010" or whatever it's called thread (in Thorpe Park section) my post then disappears! Fair enough the first one went off-topic (but then again why is there still other off-topic posts around, why me getting theirs deleted and no one else, if thats what happened?) and the second one asked where that post went so fine...but I could have had an answer :)And the third post which was a few days ago, that was on topic and commenting on someone else's post so fine as far as I'm aware but NO it's disappeared! So please someone explain what the hell is going on.

Don't worry, I'm the same :lol:I'm straight and have always got on better with guys, I fit in easier and they seem to accept me more than girls do. Probably cos girls tend to be more judgemental and bitchy I'm not saying I hate girls or have never had female friends. But the majority of my friends are and have been guys.Cos in a lot of ways I'm different from other people my age and was a tomboy when I was younger, didn't care about make-up and all that til I was about 16. Found it far more fun and interesting to play games and be stupid!

Well I was also at the John Lewis event and I thought what they had on SAW worked well actually. Two girls had to have a member of staff with them as they went through the queueline as they were so scared by the actors! Then they turned around and didn't even go on!Also the ride was walk-on, so there's only so much they can do when there's an empty queueline :PPlus the John Lewis event wasn't specifically a preview of Fright Nights (unlike the Merlin staff preview/social/whatever it was lol), but seeing as most of the theming, mazes etc were in place, we had the opportunity to experience them. I thought the pig-masked actors were very creepy, especially when they follow you while you walk and breathe down your neck! They don't like their pictures being taken though! There's always Monks Walk to go down at night if Fright Nights doesn't scare you enough!
