Hey Everybody!I've just come back from a school ski trip. Best holiday ever. So that's why I haven't been on here for a while, and for those who remember I will finally make my Nemesis Inferno theme later on in the week.See you at Thorpe.

I'm currently making my Nemesis Inferno theme remix due to a request by (I think) Sheepie. It's insanely hard to recreate but I will post it when I'm done.EDIT: Turns out it's taking longer then I thought I might have it done by next week, Sorry Sheepie.
  7. Now with the introduction of another major attraction, I think it's time that Thorpe invests in re-themeing rather than rides. What's your opinion? And what would you re-theme if you could?
  8. Today was pretty rubbish because of all the ride closures. Everybody there was very kind and entertaining, but the park itself was crap.Get your act together Thorpe!
  9. Heres my video of the annual pass day.Click MeThe video doesn't contain any spoilers so it won't ruin the surprise.
  10. Wow, that’s the best word that describes Saw. If anybody tells you it's not very good, They're lying. In my opinion Saw The Ride is the best coaster experience I have ever been on, and I've been to Orlando. The coaster aspect is very good, might not be the best coaster in Thorpe but that’s not what this ride is about. Saw The Ride is all about the experience. From the moment you enter the area to the moment you exit the ride you have one continual terrifying/bloody fun experience. The live actors in the queue line and the entertainers walking round the place make it so much more enjoyable. And of course the themeing is incredibly good! I went on Colossus after my 4th go on Saw and it almost seem like a down timer. Saw the ride- easily my new favorite ride in the UK. I will not ruin the surprise by telling you all about the indoor section but I will upload a video of my trip later tonight.

  12. Flamingo Land - If RCT was a theme park.
  13. Well, I just pre-booked for the 13th for several reasons,1: I'm a sucka for thorpe.2: I like the idea of riding it when it's not busy, because it will be packed pretty much every day of the coming year.3: I live close and have parents available for lifts. (I love them very much )Surprisingly when booking you are not given an allocated time slot, you just go there between 2-5pm according to the print at home ticket in case anyone was put off by this.
  14. For those going keep in mind that Friday is a school day, sencondary schools (which I guess is Saws prime audience) end at around 3:00 - 3:40. With travel included means that most people would either have not enough time or have no parents to give them a lift. I think the real reason Thorpe are opening on Friday is press. I suspect newspapers and news broadcasters will be there. The annual pass aspect was probaly just an afterthought.

  16. I was at the park today; the Saw Plaza doesn't look quite as bad as those photos make out (No offence to Rickys photgraphy skills.) Though there is still a lot of work to do on the access route from Crust, The Saw Store does still look like a big tin can from any angle.

Hey everybody, I've made a techno remix of the Colossus theme. Clicky
  18. End of day music is on the audio section under misc, hope that helps.
  19. lol, thanks but I look pretty awful in the second group pic.
  20. On Fright Nights I was told by a member of staff that the queue for The Asylum was 4.5 hours. No joke.
  21. I really enjoyed myself today, Everybody was very friendly and fun to be with. Would reccomend it to anyone who hasn't been already. Thanks again to Mark9 for the lift, wish I could have stayed at Nando's for longer.
  22. Trains look good from the pictures, looks like they will have a rustic paint job like Nemesis at AT
  23. Could we stop the complaints about the hype and videos linked with the ride. Besides, if all the members on this forum were given the job of creating Thorpe's next coaster, it would be like cutting a Pizza with everyone’s favourite topping, It would be disgusting. So it's time we leave it all to the professionals and admire the effort they're all putting into Saw.
  24. Went to Fright Nights for the first time on the 29th. Was packed, The average que time was 2 hours, but I got there early and waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for Colossus. Rush was a favorite, not only did I get on it twice, (once in daytime once at night) but I also met some quite interesting 15 year old girls who were full of questions that should be kept to themselves... The audio was cool apart from the bass of Stealth. I also liked seeing the Inferno tunnel lit up and full of mist.Tip: Buy fastrack for mazes at the begging of the day, they sell out quickly and the wait time for The Asylum got to 4 hours No joke.I could only get on The Asylum as my fastrack was reissued. And it was fantastic! It was loud and very disorientating and full of actors covered in blood and jumping in front of you.Highlights: Walking straight onto The Asylum.Being freezing and then walking into a warm Pizza Hut and having hot Pizza. All in all, a very good day out.
