  1. You haven't been following the 2009 Season topic have you?
  2. James replied to Sheepie's topic in UK Attractions
Or until we know what the Alton coaster actually is
  3. Answer to question 3 cos Dan is useless It's usually meet up, take a group photo, decide on a ride then the group seems to split up into smaller groups.
  4. Some info >> here << about Work Experience for Chessington (mainly how to enquire about it).
  5. No you can platform rides at 16.

  7. Ohh I see. If I'll only be paying £32 for a wristband and no other charges at BPB then I think thats reasonable. Its cheaper than Thorpe still and it has a better selection of rides in my opinion.
  8. I think they've done enough storyline revealing with the videos. Obviously there is more to it that we'd like to know but I would like to find that out on the ride, not Youtube.
  9. James replied to Sheepie's topic in Stuff
Probably just a traffic accident, that has happened to be directly outside Thorpe Park.
  10. Hes renewing a Thorpe Park AP, not a Merlin one. I too wish they were all that cheap!

When was the last time you saw Slammer in your local fair?
  12. James replied to Sheepie's topic in Stuff
Yeah I saw the last hour of Nanny McPhee yesterday too. I'd never seen it before but I rather enjoyed what I saw.I also watched Fort Boyard at 5am and Who Wants to Be A Millionaire at 6am.Yes I haven't slept tonight. *Collapses on keyboard*.
  13. I went in 2007 (corrr seems like yesterday now), and we paid £22 for a one day wristband, and no other costs.

I like how the Gardaland topic has over 10,000 views but only 12 posts
  15. Blackpool Pleasure Beach closing would be a right shame, it houses some notable history for the UK in the form of rollercoasters over 100 years old.Could someone please clear this up for me coz I'm a bit confused. You now have to pay to get into BPB and to go on the rides?!
  16. I meant italian. I just didn't put effort into thinking about their language when I posted that .
  17. Gardaland are rethemeing their Vekoma Double Loop Corkscrew, Magic Mountain for 2009.The coaster will be called Bigfoot, and will have a new theme, a new logo and new Vekoma trains with new style restraints. For anybody who can read German, an article can be found here.
  18. Yeah I'd agree with that tbh. Even looking at the front of the building you can tell its impressive. I love the fire effects and how it actually simulates hot and cold during the journey into Valhalla. The weird 3-headed dogs were slightly creepy though but I still found Valhalla an unusual and interesting experience. Especially when they could have just made it a normal water flume with a backwards drop (I.e Stormforce 10). Phwoaar. Exactly how I feel about Infusion there Mark. Infusion has been Blackpools latest addition for quite a while now and even though the water fountains and stuff are there and its rated quite highly by the public, they could have done so much better than a hand-me-down coaster from an hour down the motorway. None-the-less it is nice to see them actually adding new rides, and Infusion is definatly one that has benefited the park, as its a 'thrill-seekers coaster' rather than a woodie etc.Blackpool is definatly one park I would not like to see go into decline and I really hope it doesn't.
  19. With the park boasting some of the most famous coasters in the UK and some of the oldest woodies around, I'd be surprised if they were PURELY dedicated to Ice Shows, which I don't really pay attention to at a theme park.I agree though, I love Valhalla! The effects are certainly better than what I'm seeing on any Merlin park rides right now.
  20. I do hope Blackpool pulls out of the credit crunch fine, I really like that place. I'm not too pleased about Space Invader 2 being SBNO for this year possibly, I have a strange liking for strange / pointless rides!. Rollercoaster not being open will be a bit strange too .
  21. The pictures are in an album on Facebook which is where the link is to.Edit: they seem to have been taken off

Well if you walk past on a quiet day when Falls is closed you can hear the Tomb Blaster music from inside through the walls.
  23. James replied to Phyciodes's topic in UK Attractions
No Beth is only a platformer for Dragon Falls, James however is likely to hurl loads of abuse at you
  24. I'm thinking its more likely to be 15 if it happens.
  25. Thank God for that.
