This is the only water ride (apart from Depth Charge if you class that as a ride ) without them squirty thingys :)Go Rumbas Go!
-
IndianMerlin AP or 1 week in Spain?
-
Sex! bum fun! But I do love Galaxy! Pizza or Pasta?
-
Football.Swimming or Bowling?
-
I do not see the point neither. The riders are already drenched anyway!
-
Plus, It is common sense that you do not "Exit to the Left" if you are facing backwards isn't it? Do you really need a long detailed announcement making you feel like a sp*z? Use your head!
-
Depth Charge! - You could run and get them! I don't approve of them on Loggers Leap or Tidal Wave as it ruins the ride to some extent. The only ride actually I would not mind water squirter thingys is Rumba Rapids as it already has water effects (at least when I went on it last it did. I know it has had some modifications! anyway...)You are moving fast and the odd bit of water aswell as effects and waves coming into the boat on Rumba Rapids might actually be good. But definately not on any other of the water rides. Especially Tidal Wave as the boat is moving slowly after already becoming drenched. So why pay money getting someone wet when they are already 'soaked to the bone'!

But why cause people all the fuss of suspended lines and cost London Underground millions?Fine a job is a job. If you sign up for a job with a set pay. You agree to that in a contract and then get paid what you sign for. You can't really complain about it.again... e.g. Theme park workers. There will always be people that want to work at a theme park. So if they only take a bit of training and then work but removing someone else of their jobs as they did not like the pay. They would not care as you have someone who is prepared to work for the pay!It is the same with any job, just that I have refered it to Theme Park Work.(If I am a bit wrong, then sorry as I have only just left Y11 going into college and hopefully CWOA & ZOO will be my first job. so not 100% on some things. e.g. Contract). Thanks

RUBBERDUCKZILLA! (Reminds me of Bubbleworks but an evil one! )
-
Also, forgot to say...At least the tube staff are not facing redundancy! While everyone else is struggling, they want a pay rise!In most jobs, you signed up for the pay you get and if you don't like it **** off somewhere else!At the moment, that is the type of attitude business people need just to try and get by.e.g. Theme Park Staff. As you have probably gathered, I really want to work at Chessington & Zoo; But I am not going to ask mid-season for a pay rise as it will be wrong as I would have only been there half a season compared to other workers who have been there for much longer. Also, It would be wrong in current circumstances. And finally, I would get the sack! Someone have the common sense on London Underground to say "If you don't like it, ***k off!So much for coming on TPM to relax after too much revision for my G.C.S.E's :)

Good for me then that I am in Brighton!
-
So that means the only water rides without them is Rumba Rapids! I still can't believe taking my poncho on Loggers! That might actually ruin my ride!As for Tidal Wave, them ba*****s (Unlike Mark, I can't get away with swearing! ) better not get me wet! (and no I am not going to slap beat anyone!
-
That is true! And that is also why I am not probably going to go on Tidal Wave when I visit soon! :)Note to self - Take poncho for the 1st time on Loggers Leap if going to get more wet my a squirty thingy than the actual ride!
-
Think about it! You said sqirting.I missed out Iskander as If your master is squirting in your face. Get it?!That is why I missed it out!
-
It is amazing what a Mania Admin can get away with saying, But 100% true what you say Mark!!! Why cost London Underground Millions for a 48 hour strike for a small increase?Bazar!A song comes into mind: London Underground. And how true the words are!
-
Anyone else read that wrong from Master above?! :PI get to ride SAW on 23rd June! I am so excited and can not wait. Do not think it will beet Colossus but I will wait and see!I can't wait as SAW: The Ride was closed on my last visit. (and Colossus so DOUBLE -> )
-
Ok, I would have never thought of that!Good imagination Lordcutter6!
-
Best theme ride for me, which will not come as a shock to fellow TPM's, is Vampire! I could live, eat, drink and die on Vampire with its theming! It is amazing! My others close though for me are...Tomb BlasterBubbleworksNemesis InfernoDragon's Fury - Queue Line.Colossus. I wrote Colossus as one of my top themed rides as the station feel is excellent, minus the chewing gum .Also, some themeing only has to be "basic" to have an effect. So it is themed to get audiences around the ride to see, hear and feel the ride in motion!Plus, little things like going by a lake, under a shop over the air time hill and going by the sun god water feature can really impact on a rides themeing. (Thought I'd explain the Colossus one incase people thought "What the hell!")

As Skunky wrote on my profile, I am a "Rameses Virgin"! Even though I visit frequently to CWoA & Zoo, no one will go on it with me and made me nervous about it!But seeing as you don't get wet on the outer seats (hense if a cold day!) I will go with Rameses Revenge.Bubbleworks or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: The Ride?
-
What I loved about Congo River Rapids was how long the ride actually felt!I was thinking "Are we still going!" But in a good way. I have been on river rapid rides in America but comparing to the one I would go on frequently (Rumba Rapids) it was great thinking I am still going!Plus, the effects on Congo River Rapids really impressed me. My favourite two were the waterfall and going through the tunnel as the Runaway Mine Train went by!Also, Last time I went it was a big family event (which was unusual tbh!) and my cousins in the boat actually over took us from behind before we went up the convayor! (I know it is possible as had done to me rarely on Rumba Rapids). However, I always get overtook on Congo! I know I should not laugh at this, but the boat crashed against the rock and my Auntie ended up wacking her front teeth on the bar in the center of the boat! I know we should not have laughed but even she found it funny that she ended up on the floor of the boat. (Somehow! , Crazy Auntie's for you!) God this is a long post!, Sorry!

Yaay Vampire Question! btw, I am a Chelsea fan aswell :PNew Vampire trains! What would you rather ride?Tomb Blaster or Rattlesnake?
-
Does anyone know, or think they know, Why is Bubbleworks in Transylvania near Vampire?Bubbleworks is cute and soft and Vampire is my ride forever is not related to ducks or bubbles!(Being stupid now but they could be evil ducks and death defying Bubbles??!)Any ideas why Bubbleworks is near Vampire?
-
Yes but with Vekoma trains. Plus, Arrow is no more! So it is Vekoma as Vampire is on there website for advertising Suspended Swinging Coasters! So it is Vekoma! TescoChelsea or Man Utd?
-
As they earn a lot of money they should give all regular TPM members that actually log on and post free merlin annual passes! Yaaay! As for Tidal Wave, I am surprisingly looking foward to going on this when I visit THORPE PARK!(With my poncho if cold though! )
-
You forgot Vampire on the good list of Vekoma rides! James 6 - Inversion coaster for me.And Professor X - Galaxy ChocolateB&M Flyer or B&M Inverter?
