  1. I think you'll find that this is happening with a lot of companies, it's becoming common practice. And it's nothing to do with the state of the climate.

Well, I always renew my pass at Thorpe Park, purely because the camera they use to take the picture with produces brilliant photos! Chessington's is rubbish, clean it or get a decent one!

Yeah, I know what you mean - it's simpler to build one station and be done with it.

That's not the most accurate but I'll give him credit - I've attempted Nemesis a numerous amount of times and got stuck at the loop and had to abandon it. What doesn't help in RCT3 is the fact that you can't go diagonally across the grid, you have to go in increments of 90 degrees.I have tried doing Air as well, I run into problems, this time with the 45 degree thing, especially when coming out of the station towards the lift hill. I may do a recreation with the hill straight ahead from the station. Is it possible to do 2 stations side-by-side on RCT3 like Air has?
  5. But it's possible to condemn a ride, sort its problems, and then re-open it with H&S giving it the nod.
  6. Closing Falls down, not falling - I can't remember which forum it was on, may not have been here.
  7. OK, when I find where I read it, I'll post a link here.
  8. Yes, it kinda helps me, cheers. Although my inversions understanding is still very much rubbish generally!

The best way is to send a text and when you select the recipients, select every contact in your phonebook. It does take a minute or two to send the message.
  10. Well at least we cleared that one up, because for a while now I've been baffled as to what inversions are after the drop and for the rest of the ride. I know there's some sort of Immelmann loop/turn somewhere. I don't wanna know either, let it be a surprise to me!
  11. That brings back bad memories for the reaction it gave me when I first went on the Flume back in 2005! It's a wonder I didn't jump out of the boat!
  12. That's right, it was condemned by H&S and the chute after the drop had new supports put in. I remember there being big debates on Forums all over the net about "Oh, please, no, don't close Falls down!" - lol.
  13. I thought it was 3 years too. I know that a new rollercoaster on the lake next to Colossus is planned, I'm not sure when it will happen, but I do know it's in the MTDP for the next few years. If they're now saying a coaster in 2011 will be in Fungle's old spot, then this one next to Colossus could follow after!
  14. I saw this picture and 50% of me likes it and 50% doesn't. But then again, the exterior is the least of my worries, what with the rest of the awesome theming! This makes interesting reading, because I drove into Thorpe's car park on the 6th and had a look. I parked where I usually park, near the gravel, and in past closed seasons I have been able to see the top end of Samurai's arm poking out. I couldn't see it this time, and so it got me wondering if the main arm has been taken off this closed season? Or is it even there, or in Holland? Surely they'll advertise it on TV this year?Does anyone actaully know the opening date for Saw? Is it 14th March?December's blog from the micro-site says: This week we have also seen the arrival and installation of the ‘head-chopper’ effect at the bottom of the 100º drop - I assume this is after being winched up, dropped (at 97º actually), and before heading into the half-loop? Which also makes me ask, is it a half loop or quarter?
  15. The only exciting* thing is that sign saying "You're about to go over the edge" or whatever it says. They should get some Bose speakers up there and play that relaxing Mystic East tune.*sarcasm factor 100%
  16. That picnic area is nice, it would seem a shame to see that turned into an area for a ride. Then again, it's hardly ever used and would make an ideal location for a ride. Since Dragon's Fury was built, you have been able to see the top of it poking out from the trees from from the crossroads in Malden Rushett. Also, you see the top of the 1st Vampire lift hill from the A243 just by the Monkey Puzzle. My fear that if they did build a rollercoaster on the picnic area, it may also bee seen from the road, or somewhere outside of the park. Even the top of Peeking Heights can bee seen from the A3, and from Horton Park. Also, thank god the Beanoland contract ends this year.
  17. Is that wavy metalwork on the building part of the theme?
  18. Yes, but they'll be going back home this year. You could look to the left as you go up the lift hill - the amount of crap on display (that is meant to be hidden) is enormous.
  19. Is this year the last year for Bubbleworks' current Cussons sponsorship?

That's useful to an extent, so now we need to assatain which way round it is, and where the lift hill is.
  21. I don't go on Detonator often, but the only thing I wish they'd change on it is the music back to the original soundtrack. I listen to the music on my computer sometimes and smile, and then hear it at Thorpe Park and think "Crap".
  22. Jeez, you even get slated for airing your views in this place.
  23. Both Loggers and Falls are themed excellently, but Falls is much better I feel.

I've looked everywhere on the Internet for floor plans of X:\ but it's like sky hooks - not available.
