THE SWARM: Construction Updates
I can honestly say that I have never seen so much excitement in 30 years over anything at Thorpe as this.Goes to show what a quality product can, and will do for the park.

THE SWARM: Preview Event?
B&M have promised Thorpe some ridiculously high level of operational reliability, that they are confident with (ride operation at least). I think we can be sure to avoid anything like the horrendous SAW opening in 2009.

Oblivion
Oblivion is far the best. It has such a presence that I hope that we don't loose, with a dreaded re-theme next season.I'm a fan of all the DM's tbh, although I do agree with what has already been said with the huge ones being less 'thrilling' and much more full of 'floaty' hangtime.Oh, what I would give to swap Saw with a Krake sized DM...

Thorpe Park Website
I'm so glad that Phill is with me on all todays 'hot topics'. :)I often wonder how long it is until Fastrack is not the only Thorpe branding that drops the 'Inferno' in 'Nemesis Inferno'..

THE SWARM: Construction Updates
I think anyone who is concerned about the near misses on this ride, should stay the hell away from Colossus in the summer. You're more likely (very likely), to get smacked in the face by over grown greenary on Colossus, than coming close to anything on this. Not sure if Mark9 and Benin would agree, but in all honesty, I didn't find ANY of Raptor's 'near misses' near at all. I think we can rest easy.

Closed Season
Looks black to me. Perhaps they have been testing fire effects, from inside the volcano. Tidal Wave was just a smoke screen.

Tips for travel
Right. Like I'm going to Alton Towers for Sealife and the Waterpark!

MTDP
Well, it would mean relocating it again and, a few yards off of it's original location (as the fish at least). It's not worth it and there's nothing wrong with it being so close to The Swarm, is there?

Tips for travel
Anyone heading to the Towers tomorrow? The park have stated that rides may be closed due to the cold weather. Not sure if I want to risk heading up, with B&M's tempreature rules, and the weather being under those... What to do!

Disneyland Resort California
Awesome, awesome, awesome fan creation of StarTours, which is AMAZING if you have a 3D TV all the better, although it can also be viewed 2D too. CLICKY McCLICK

THE SWARM: Construction Updates
I believe that the choice was made to swap the SRQ for a front row queue, as many people would want to opt for a front row option instead. Which makes sense to me. I was totally suiprised that Raptor's station was such a free for all.

Closed Season
A lot of the stuff used for theming, was also used in several of the films too. Actual props and all, if anyone cares enough about Headache-The Ride.

THE SWARM: Construction Updates
Hopefully ensuring that both sides (again, as Raptor), get just as wet and interacted with as each other.

THORPE PARK Exclusive TPM Events
There is already a TPM Swarm and Colossus event being prepared, so I wanted other ideas than that.Did anyone enjoy Thorpe Park's advent calander, with a rare photo being shown on different days? Something news-wise, that could be interesting and exciting.

THE SWARM: Construction Updates
Short, along that low section over the water. Hopefully they'll be like Raptor's that actially sprayed the riders!

THORPE PARK Exclusive TPM Events
Scaling the top of any roller coaster's aren't things that we can swing for members, no matter how much we love 'em. ;)Anything else that we can put into motion that we want to see?

Thorpe Park Job Interviews 2012
It really depends on what job that you've applied for and if you are returning following last season. If it's a seasonal customer facing position and you are new to it, then expect an assessment center, which is team activities and it used to include a small maths test (why I do not know!). You will then get a final one on one interview. The assessment centers are also suprisingly quite long, so don't expect an in and out job. Dress smart (but not a suit) and be ready for a few hours getting involved.I wouldn't worry about being in groups, I understand that it can be intimidating, but just remember that you'll come out the other end, with plenty of stories to tell and possibly a job too!

Thorpe Park Hotel
Whilst this is the original plan for the hotel, and apart from it's location I believe that the 'theme' may have changed to a much more quirky, Thorpe brand of thrills. As we wait for details on the newer version of that however, I thought that I would share some of this info from when the original application went in..

THORPE PARK Exclusive TPM Events
Hey guys,Being the 'official' THORPE PARK fansite, I'd like to get a feel of what type of events that you would perhaps like to see during the year. We're already putting together a SWARM and Colossus 10 event, so please no Swarm ERT, 'behind the scenes' type of stuff, as the park are already arranging these packages for roller coaster clubs during the year.I'm generally just trying to get a feel of what our members would like to see. It doesn't have to be 'trips' as such, it could be news or something else that you may find interesting. We were lucky enough to be given the 'official' tag from THORPE PARK themselves, so as such what would YOU like to see from the official THORPE PARK fansite?

THE SWARM: Construction Updates
They really show how small the ride area is. There's going to be a LOT of people moving backwards and forwards along there.I still think that it's a huge shame that they didn't link the pathway to the Sunken Garden, would help people flow hugely! Also, looking forward to seeing the small viewing area around the splash pool.

Mmm, I'm SO there! I love Euro-Montu, looks great..
