  1. That is a very weird sight!
  2. No, far from it.
  3. Just had a response from Thorpe, they say we should be able to book Face It Alone on the day from the Fastrack Unit.

Do you not know how marketing works lol? Make people talk about how scary clowns are + release clown film = profit?
  5. I don't think it really needs to be completely changed, when it all works it's a good ride. If they tweak a few bits to hopefully make it more reliable, and completely change the shocking 2nd VR section, it'll be a great ride. I guess we'll wait and see!

Hi Sorry, not sure what you mean by personalised pin badge?
  7. Ryan replied to CallumSyxr's topic in The Real World
Apparently it started out as marketing for the new IT film.
  8. Well they've got a few months to sort everything out so hopefully!

Yeah but it's not for political reasons, so it's not To quote a great Italian "if my nan had wheels, she'd be a bike".

People dressing up as clowns and making people jump is not terrorism.

Someone near me claimed to have spotted one with a knife and reported it to the police, turns out it was her 9 year old son that saw it.... very reliable source lol.
  12. If you haven't booked Face It Alone yet I'd suggest you email the VIP team as it turns out you must book it 5 days in advance.
  13. Had another brilliant evening at Fright Nights, excited for face it alone, maze tour and spooky shark hotel next week!
  14. Ghost Train was crap yesterday, first time I've had a dodgy headset and the middle action scene just wasn't working. They really really need to sort all this out in closed season as when it's working it is a fun ride (bar the 2nd VR section).
  15. Yeah it's very easy to separate yourself from the group in Big Top, me and Amy went through just us 2 most of it today and it was great!
  16. The Ouiji board scene in Platform is pretty decent if you're at the front, but anywhere else in the conga you can't see it. The tunnel is far too long and needs something in it (actors, strobes, inflatable walls etc.) but it's definitely better than when I went in on Media night.
  17. Just did Big Top which was fun, it's better in the dark, needs more actors but it was good!
  18. Ryan replied to pluk's topic in The Future
I meant a public fireworks display, and Ian meant the display at Alton Towers.
  19. Big Top has become the best maze at the park which it really needed to be. Platform 15 was really disappointing, although I thought the train scene was great. Blair Witch is same old Blair Witch with added storyline sentence (don't look into her eyes). Cabin is getting quite stale now, hopefully this will be its final year. Saw Alive was solid with actors working their arses off (chiller room girl hanging upside down was great). Containment was much better this year, had fantastic actors and each room was very clever and entertaining.

Wayyyyy too much Halloween bashing in here *loads Halloween fun gun*
  21. Tonight is the media preview event!
  22. Thanks for the idea!
