Hello all! I’m excited to announce the annual Alton Towers weekend meet for 2018. The date set is Saturday 21st April and Sunday 22nd April, as listed in our 2018 Meet Calendar! You will need to book your own rooms for this so if you’re looking for people to roomshare with then please post below! Please take note if you plan to stay with us overnight and you’re under 18 we cannot help you with this! If you were to stay the night - under no circumstances will TPM get involved and take responsibility with how you stay overnight, as for the overnight section of the trip will be an over 18's event. We will be aiming to meet at the frog fountains on Towers street at 9:45AM. We aim to stay together as a group for the day, going from one activity to the next, enjoying getting to know people you share very similar interests with, the idea is to just go with the flow and enjoy the day with some awesome people. There will be many photo’s in the day being taken I’m sure and the possibility of a few video clips. Whilst we cannot force you to stay with the group, it is the general purpose of these meets! The meets are a fantastic laugh and everyone is invited, even if you’ve never posted before or been to any kind of meet at all. If it's your first meet, I understand it can be nerve breaking - but we were all there at one point so know how it feels, please don't let this stop you from attending - Once there you'll be part of the group in no time! The plan for the day with rough times is as follows: 09:30 - Meet by park entrance (this entirely depends how security works this year, backup plan is to meet in the dome at 10:00am) 10:15 - Riiiiides 13:00 - Stop for lunch 17:30 - Evening meal/creams! Hello all! I’m excited to announce the second meet of 2018, which will be the traditional Adventure Island trip. The date set is Saturday 10th February, as listed in our 2018 Meet Calendar! The plan for the day with rough times is as follows: 10:30 - Meet by Rage lift hill to collect wristbands 11:00 - Ride spinny rides 13:00 - Stop for lunch 17:30/18:00 - Evening meal/creams! As you may have noticed, I haven't outlined any other specific meet points during the day for any latecomers. Hello all! I’m pleased to announce our plans for meets in 2018. You may notice there is not one every month this year and that’s because we want to focus on the quality rather than the quantity of meets. In response to your feedback we are setting the dates for the first half of the year in advance. The second half of the year's dates will be confirmed in early 2018. Individual meet topics will follow shortly, but for now this is what we have planned: Saturday 13th January - Guildford Spectrum Saturday 10th February - Adventure Island Saturday 24th March (can’t confirm until Thorpe confirm dates) - Thorpe Park Saturday 21st/Sunday 22nd April - Alton Towers Saturday 19th May - Chessington Sat/Sun 14th/15th OR Sat/Sun 21st/22nd July - Blackpool September - Phantasialand/Liseberg/Europa Park (will be a vote for which park, then in early 2018 we will look at the best dates/prices available. October - Fright Nights (can’t say when until dates are up, but likely to be the second weekend of the event) December - London Christmas (date will be decided mid-2018) There is room for a Thorpe MOS meet too if they are doing that again, and potentially a beach style meet in August!
