This is starting to feel very much like Derren Brown to me. The video and website look his style and the whole mind control, minds wanted thing is right up his street. Along with the random objects (pocket watch, lights etc) he's all about clues etc. Then I saw this, under prize 1: "Chance to meet the maker of the ride", maybe you'll get to meet Derren Brown if you win? Sounds very possible to me!

Looking great! Any sort of indications as to when Hulk/next summer's coasters will be opening? Really hoping we don't miss out on much when we go the first 2 weeks in June.

I don't think it is. There's 2 clues coming in October, and it says the 3rd one is end of October (so I'm guessing the 2nd is beginning of the month). The countdown timer ends on 25th October at 11PM, which will be around the time of the 3rd clue.

"THORPE PARK Resort will be shaking up the entertainment industry in 2016 with the arrival of a new attraction that promises to blow your mind." Thought that was an interesting sentence. There's also a bit on the challenges when you sign in that says " Watch the film on our mind the gap page". Mistake that it's being referred to as "mind the gap" here?

Well no... They said X Slammer and Loggers will be closed all season, which means they'll be closing this season. Then they say "and in 2016..." So end of 2016 Colossus will be closing

I've heard rumours about X, Slammer and Loggers closing, but not Colossus (same source that said Tidal Wave is shutting for rest of this season).

I did Cabin In The Woods and Saw Alive last year, you get walked through by a member of staff and an actor with all the lights on. They stop you in each room and tell you what happens, why it happens etc. You can ask as many questions as you want to the actor (who isn't in character) about anything. It's a really good interesting experience that I'd definitely recommend! You also get a fastrack ticket for that maze to use (not sure if that's changed for this year though).

I know BIA is meant to be scary and horrible. I'm not comfortable with MBV so won't do it, I have done the others and would like to do one of those. I understand why Thorpe have done this and it does make a lot of sense, just a shame I can't do it now that's all!
