  1. You have agreed to the terms and conditions which state that you have to pay for additional events They aren't always that long, towards the end of the night it quietens down and if you plan your day properly you can get on a lot of rides. I went to Fright Nights last year and the longest I queued was 90 mins for Experiment 10 due to it's poor throughput, other mazes had smaller queues. Then ride the coasters in the dark.... You are paying £5 which is a small fee to do this. £5 for a few rides in the dark is very good value Chessington's halloween events are usually poor, Towers you have to pay for the mazes. London Dungeons... you can't even compare that to Fright Nights at all. The Tussauds scare maze is piss-poor The mazes at Towers are expensive. At thorpe you can get unlimited mazes and rides in dark for £5, to do the same amount of mazes at Towers you have to pay a lot more than £5 Let's judge Thorpe this year when they actually start their Fright Nights event. Again, let's wait and see what they have. Already they've got Lionsgate backing them so the event should be a lot better than before.

I'm really not a fan of hers, or other music like that, but that's actually a very nice song. More like this please Miley!

I saw Knife Party at Reading last night, best live act I have ever seen! It was 90 mins of pure carnage, such good fun. They're doing a show in London in November so if you like them then definitely go see them live, it's an experience not to be missed. The other incredible acts I saw were Hadouken!, Fall Out Boy, Sub Focus, Dillon Francis (<3), Eminem, Chase and Status, Deaf Havana, Don Broco, Bastille. Such an amazing weekend
  11. Definitely recommend watching Cabin In The Woods, pretty sure it's on Netflix so if you don't have that you can just sign up to a free months trial and watch it there.
  12. As a massive horror film fan this is all incredibly exciting!
  13. The Thorpe Park logo is really badly photoshopped on those images
  14. If Thorpe are doing franchise mazes then please please please do a The Walking Dead scarezone
  15. You're Next could be interesting, if you've not heard of it here's a trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufUQWpEkbf0 I believe it has an 87% rating on rotten tomatoes which is very good for a horror film. Would be interesting to see how they do that maze, with the hunters coming after you. My Bloody Valentine would be a strange choice though, but who knows eh?
  16. Here's a clip from the film: SPOILER ALERT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1SV0LInE-s
  17. Cabin In The Woods is one of my favourite recent horrors, exciting times
  18. "They have to make the choice of their own free will" is a line from the movie Cabin In The Woods, which is having it's own maze at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal this year, interesting.
  19. Having to come back 90 mins later is better than standing in a cattlepen for 90 mins. Paying the premium to get on rides is something that happens at a majority of theme parks, it's fastrack, it's not new and it's not going anywhere anytime soon. That's the same as queuing an hour for Saw, when you're just about to get on and it breaks for half an hour. You'd be stuck in the queue waiting for it if you had queued anyway. I'm not sure what happens about other ride reservations but the likeliness of a LOT of people just coming off a broken down ride who have a reservation for another ride that they've missed is very slim. I am sure there is a way around it that Thorpe have thought of. Thorpe have already in this topic said that it won't be available on all rides, only the big popular ones. There's no way all the top coasters would be fully booked by 11am, as you are just queuing virtually behind people who have already booked, so the queue may be 2 hours on a busy day for example. The Reserve N Ride will only be available on the busy coasters. You will be able to ride any other coaster during the wait, eat lunch, visit the arcade, (possibly see a show if they bring them back). Thorpe have already said they're looking into improving on things for guests to do around the park. At the moment it's free, if they ever to introduce a payment option then it would be to replace fastrack. Thorpe park would not give an entrance fee and then make you pay for individual rides. Nobody is forcing you to buy fastrack. Hope this clears things up for you.
  20. Perhaps we could see an introduction of more shows, especially as the park is heading towards a family market. Shows would be great things to fill gaps in waiting times for rides.
