Heck, a Vekoma would have been good! But yeah, a Mack would have been so much better, not too mention much more reliable..

But if it's replacing of the trims fro, one form to another, then surely AT would have seen it coming to some sort of extent. I dunno, but surely something of this magnitude would have shown some sort of problems before.Let's just pin the blame on Intamin, again... shall we?

SAW: Alive
The new music in there is rather annoying.Yes, I like it. It's good music. Reminds me slightly of the Saw theme itself. However, why in the maze!?I'm in a bathroom. There's a guy sawing his own leg off and trying to scare the heck out of me. SO what do I want to hear? A catchy piece of slightly creepy music of course! (Note the sarcasm). A complete atmosphere killer.Yes, it's fine in the photo point and before then. Heck, even the photo booth would have be fine. But not in the maze Use it for the queue line for some variation, but not the queue line. The maze has got worse as well. It's really scary to have people turn on a torch and go boo...

To use this offer, do I just show my AP at any ORP desk and ask for a wristband?

Rant
*JoshC. dislikes this*I have quite a few things to rant about. Firstly, "its half term now,, evry single 1 of dem mite be enjoyin the holls, but me, I am still sittin a doing the course work.. I hate my lifeeeee" <-- A friend's status on Facebook. Coursework was all due in before half term and it appears as if she has got an extension to finish, and she is moaning that she has to do it. Hello!? Why couldn't you do it when it is due and then you might be able to do something with your half term. Then again, most of us are going to be doing revision for the bulk of half term. Just annoys me. And apparently me saying that "You really shouldn't hate your life if you're the one who has caused it." is too harsh...Next, family. Just so everyone knows, I live with my mum and my nan. Basically, my nan hasn't been very well. She's been feeling ill in general, just summer colds and stuff like that. She recently hurt her leg and it means she can't walk that far at the moment. That topples on with arthritis in her leg which makes it hard for her to move anyway. Now, as I'm at school and my mum's at work (well, sleeping - she works nights) and we don't own a car anyway, it makes it hard for my nan to get out anywhere. My nan is one of those people who if they don't get out somewhere every couple of days, she gets frustrated. However, none of my aunts or uncles check to see how she is. Not even a phone call. And considering 2 of them live in Chertsey and only work part time, I find that insulting. The other 2 live further afield, but barely visit. Granted, one of them doesn't drive, but they don't even phone! So that leaves my nan to struggle to get out. Many a time when I've come home from school she tells me how she was able to get down the road, then didn't feel well so had to get a taxi home. One day, my nan's sister phoned, as she does, once every 3 weeks. A few days later, my aunt turns out of the blue, with flowers, and offering to take her somewhere. Coincidence ey? The thing is, if my nan gets frustrated, it's usually me or my mum who has to deal with it (even though she's never annoyed at us) because she never sees anyone! It really pees me off.And have more to rant about, but I'm too busy! XD

Thorpe Park Meetup - Sunday 30th May 2010
I have to agree with Lordcutter6. It was a bit of a disaster. No organisation or anything. It was my first ever meet, and it didn't feel all that welcoming nor that fun. It more felt like every little group had met together for a chat, then went again. There was a photo, and we weren't really involved. Everyone went away before we had a chance to realise what had happened. All I can say is thanks to AeRo, LordCutter, Smartguy and his cousins for a great day!

Thorpe Park Informer
I have an update for everyone. I am confirming an OFFICIAL 'relaunch' date! By 'relaunch', the site isn't disappearing, but by this date, everything I want added shall be added by then and the site will be updated on a regular basis. And the 'relaunch' date is... 31st July 2010!!I know it's a while away, but I'm only going to be really working on everything during July. :PAlso, I'm on the look-out for a couple of people to help me with the site. By help, I mean become an 'admin' as such, help with photos and - hopefully - videos, as well as updating the site and such. If you wish to be involved, please drop a PM. :PAlso, a Saw Alive layout! Okay, it's not perfect (only done in Paint after all). Red lines are curtain dividers and the thicker lines are props. This is one of the interesting things I hope TPI will provide that other sites won't. So, here is the preliminary edition...

I feel the exact same way. It's the first time, so I have no worries about queuing. After then, it's easy to make a decision on how long I'd wait for another go on it. I did that on Kobra; got some VERY funny looks from everyone. XD

I really do need a DP of myself. XDI'm in the Lorikeet queue, wearing a black jacket. More notable for my 'floppy' hand I have for some reason.

Europa Park 18/05/10 - 21/05/10
That's one of my favourite theme park pictures I've ever seen. :)Glad you had a great trip; really does show how far behind the UK is with it's standard of parks...

Thorpe Park Trip Reports
If I'm honest, you went on a bad day. The beautifully hot weather attracted many more people than a usual Saturday. It was just a bit of bad luck about the amount of people. :/

Nemesis Inferno
Cheers for that Matt; very interesting read. :oI still think 7 rows is right. Even if 8 rows would of had a 99.99% success rate in completing circuits, there;d still be .01% unsuccessful circuits, which would be a .01% too many..

Nemesis Inferno
I do not know the definite answer, but I'll have a crack at it..Having an extra row would cause a lot of extra weight, meaning that more energy would be lost during the ride. For example, taking into account Newton's 2nd Law (Force=Mass x Acceleration - F=Ma), and rearrange it, acceleration = Force/Mass. The (g-)force of the ride would stay the same no matter what, but if you increase the Mass with an extra row, then the acceleration would decrease. This means, there'd be less speed and it would be harder for the train to get round the track - and probably cause it not to complete the circuit more often then not. Therefore, if they wanted an extra row, the circuit would have to require a larger lift hill, shorter circuit, smaller elements; etc. so the train could complete. As this would probably affect the experience of the ride, they've probably stuck to 7 rows, as opposed to 8. Things like this are usually taken into account when designing rides, of course.Again, I do not know the answer, and I've used probably there upteen times. However, it's just my understanding of Physics that I've got and using a bit of guess work, this is what I've always believed to be an answer to such questions for any coaster. Of course, if I'm wrong, someone will say and give the right answer. Hope this has helped a bit though James.

Thorpe Park Staff
I shall bring this topic back.Staff have been very good this year; very interactive and friendly. Most notable for me has been the member of staff on Rocky Express. He continuously uses the PA to interact with the guests and he really helps the attraction get the family feel it rightly needs. There also appears to be the great man on Vortex, who sounds amazing, though I haven't had him on any of my rides. I also love the staff on CCR who work well with everyone. Of course, big well done to the Alive actors for starting to come together to make a great experience. EDIT: Took away names; forgot about that. XDHowever, on a personal note, great to see friend of the family Michael (the cleaner) around. I'm still amazed he's working at the park; though I'm just as amazed he remembers who I actually am! (Yes, yes, I know abut the contradiction, but he's a family friend, so that should be okay? )

Oblivion
If we get another ride in the UK that even comes close to the class if Nemesis, I'd be amazed. If I'm honest ste, looking at you ride count for that day, it's rather good. I wouldn't grumble that much at it..
