Also a keyworker as a teacher, although working from home except for Thursdays as they've put us on a rotation to cover the students coming in and try and minimise contact at same time. Outside of that, finish two point hospital and then the new DLC coming out next week, finish rise of the tomb raider, kingdom hearts 1 and 2 to replay again on Xbox one after loving it years ago on ps2 and some Netflix thrown in amongst some other games!

Indeed, with our so called "directed time" it is 40 hours a week, but soon adds up, and yes like you say many people in many different industries/sectors work well over the maximum.

I often work 60 as a teacher. Just saying... 😛

Dear TPM members It is with regret that I announce the cancellation of all TPM meets for the foreseeable future. However, it is only fair that we think of the health and safety of all our members and the general public. Once things calm down we will come up with a new plan. 🤔 Think of whether it has been improved on last season not years and years ago! It is certainly an improvement! Animatronics virtually all working for once, targets that do work look neater, it's much darker in the scenes, the audio works and it attempts to tell a story. As for the audio, it is not in any way catchy or memorable but it works for what its trying to do with the storyline being added. I think it's a MASSIVE improvement on recent years. Well done Chessington.

It's been the same design for a few seasons now but it's dreadful. (almost of bad as the 2004 alton Towers map with the aeroplanes) What has worsened this year is the key. It used to be sorted by land and now its by thrill type which makes less user friendly and somewhat confusing.

Awesome looking boats, errr coaster cars (bar the vest restraints, although new it was having those)! Plan was to go out this year but who knows now 🤔 Somehow reminded me of Seastorm boats when I initially saw them on a small screen. Image taken from Energylandia's FB page

I actually really like what can be heard in that video (33:40 for those who just want to hear it) and look forward to hearing it in person. The darker station is more atmospheric (still nothing like I remember as a kid in the early to mid nineties) but have they already felt its too dark as the start of the UK Theme Parks video has no lights on yet just towards the end one has been turned on already!

From the pics and videos seen, it seems to fit in well and looks nice. Will of course look nicer when some of the trees grow a bit seeing as its meant to be a rainforest.

Also notice that despite still having angry birds land in the middle of the map they have listed the areas rides under the Jungle. Odd, but maybe it was just to fit it all in at the bottom on the key.

Unfortunately there really is abuse and it is not over exaggerated. Some of us here spend a lot of time in the park and both see and hear it. I have encountered many a group clearly talking about there fake medical letter and sadly have even had a group of my friends use a disability that doesn't in any way shape or form mean they cannot queue up to their advantage. We aren't just talking about faking of letters either. At TPM meets for example we have witnessed a lot of abuse. For example we witnessed 8 people go in with one RAP on Gruffalo last year. As well as people talking about how great it is to skip the queue because they cut there leg and had a bit of a limp. We are all for it being utilised be invisible disabilities if it warrants it, just not if it doesn't. Like Martin Doyle says he has ADHD and can qualilfy for it, but he doesn't need to utilise it as he can queue, just like many others with ADHD (obviously circumstances that mean they can't queue is acceptable, there are some cases). Another one of our members is diabetic and could qualify for it but again doesn't choose to as they can still queue perfectly fine. As has been said with the culture that exists in the UK it will never be easy to change, as so many people will no longer be granted it and will kick off threatening to take it to press etc.

A few reasons. Firstly, because more than half the people using it don't have a disability that prevents them from queuing. Its a farce! Also, Some people have got injured, got a doctors note to get one of these for two years (or three) and the injury disappeared 3 weeks later. Finally as Martin says anyway, many also fake a doctors note. So the long term aspect of it does come with BIG issues.
