We are currently taking on board any ideas you have for a new forum skin, anything you'd like to see on a new forum if we where to develop our current one.     Lol, about that.. Nah, it got to a point where I preferred just being out on park helping guests or something rather than working on the rides. Will miss some quality people there though, but I feel like getting a bit more experience elsewhere before going back into Merlin. Eventually, like all jobs. But so far so good, really enjoying it and a good atmnosphere and enviroment to work in. AND , we got a better canteen than you AND I get more pay than you

  6. It sounds like it may be awaiting parts from it's manufacturer (Mack) Don't bank on it though, has it re-opened in the last few days do you know? Because it was down for a while before.

    Why Raynes Park High? Surely, every child in the country would be pissed off if they had to pay. Lol, what a quality episode it was, funny stuff.
  12. It's worth letting people know, but I'm sure people are capable of checking the website. It becomes alot of hassle if we have to say every time a ride becomes un-available because, like today.. Nemesis has been back in operation as of 1pm. The new TPM may have a scroller on the homepage like we used too which will stop us from having to tell each other in this topic as to which rides are currently experiencing downtime.
  13. Have never queued over 45mins except for Rita at Alton the first time I went on it, must have queued about 120 minutes in the highest temperatures of 2005, was painful but worth it for my first ride. Absolutely hate queueing, will do anything to find a way around it

  17. The ride area is actually pretty clean in my opinion, and the plants etc. all look fine to me. If you haven't rode it for a while, then you wouldn't know how the staff perform, the staff are very good on DepthCharge and have one of the hardest jobs in the park.
  18. The thing is, I dont think yours came out really great. Now I'm not too sure of the price, but I would never pay at least five pound to have about two slow motioned clips of me on each ride at a theme park. Theres about, in total a minutes worth of footage of you out of the whole of the yourday video, 29 minutes is just other footage of the rides. I think it's a poor idea, and knew it wouldn't be pulled off well.

    I'm not too sure as to how the park would find that one out if a staff member had park media on their phone to be honest, where did you hear that from by the way?

  22. A Ride Shutdown is a Ride Shutdown, no matter what the problem is, staff are directed not to pass on information as to why any ride has ceased operation. It's very easy for guests to blow things out of proportion.. for example, if you told a queueline of a ride that the ride is closed due to cleaning, some guests may not want to ride if somebody has been sick on the seats etc. I don't think Martin is in the wrong, the staff member shouldn't have told him the information in the first place.
  23. I can't believe this, absolutely over the top excuse to shut down the ride in my opinion.
  24. Today at Chessington was a Zoo only day due to the amount of snow, I believe it was worse at Chessington than it was at Thorpe, was still snowing at 11am this morning. The park will be open as usual from tomorrow (Unless we have crazy weather again)
