Few things I find interesting, the original plans for Colossus... you can see the outline but not a lot else, seems completely different! And also, what is the family coaster referred to in the Detonator application? Where sound levels were tested on Traumatizer at Southport.Cheers for pointing this out!

I've been there three times and the only time anything has been down was this past summer when Cheetah Hunt, the brand new Intamin broke down for 10 minutes and then was back up. Operations on the other hand are diabolical, when I was there, the hourly target on Sheikra was 800... and they got about 650... It didn't "really" matter as the queue was only 10 minutes, but still!

I think it says everything that I went from 12 visits to Chessington last year, to two this year. There's only so long you can keep being disappointed in a place. :/

Personally I agree wholeheartedly Mark. My main problem with Thorpe is that so many of the rides aren't worth the queue's they get, partly because of the lack of theme and the fact it is essentially just the ride etc.Tidal Wave is awesomely themed, but it's never warm enough, and then other than that, Rush, Colossus, Inferno and occasionally Saw are the only rides I would actually be willing to queue a decent amount of time for.
