Thorpe Park twitter page says they are still being sent out - screenshot of the email I received.

Just got an email from Merlin: "Dear Mathew On Friday 25 March 2016, our 12p ticket sale went live too early. This is the last thing we wanted, and understandably it left you frustrated and annoyed that your chances of winning may have been affected. We could continue to apologise, but actions speak louder than words. We promised we would try to make amends if we could, so as a gesture of goodwill, we will be more than trebling the amount of 12p tickets available for 2016 - a further 4,000 tickets will be made available as part of the draw! On Monday 18 April 2016 each person who registered to the site before the main sold out page went live on our website for all to see will have their details automatically entered into the draw which will be run by an independent adjudicator. You are one of those people, and there is nothing else you need to do to be entered." Fair play chaps, excellent work!

Agreed, the level of mystery sounding the ride has been quite impressive - fingers crossed this results in the public being intrigued and keen to visit instead of not being bothered because it's not a visible coaster etc. The adverts better be good

Saw a photo of the station building the other day - where the queue goes in to the projection room. My goodness the building looks grubby from the outside - lots of moss/algae/water staining on the white exterior.

Just watching a Chessington vlog from a few days ago - I see that the Zufari preshow no longer happens - is that a change for this year?

ThumbRemote - many thanks for a detailed post/trip report, it's always interesting (and, very much concerning) to see a theme park without perhaps the rose-tinted spectacles of a theme park fan (although some could argue that the "fans" are far more cutting and unforgiving!) It sounds like a particularly awful day out you've had - again, that's a real shame to read as I have a fondness for CWoA with awesome memories from the early 90s!

I haven't seen them use the Fasttrack queues at all this year but in Thorpe Park's defence I haven't visited this year.

It wasn't even 0959... it was a good 5 minutes before 10 and they'd gone! Normally with timed release of tickets (Ticketmaster etc.) you expect them to go on at 0959-1002.

I'm going on 11th May whatever happens but this would've been a nice bonus - I wouldn't be grumbling if I'd not nabed one and they'd gone on sale at 10am like they were supposed to

I was refreshing but didn't see the code box appear at the bottom of the screen until about 9.56. Already too late. And 4 minutes early. Thorpe Park can't even get this right.
