Oblivion
I went on this ride only once over four and a half years ago and loved it. I'd like to go back to Alton some day but the queing is horrifying apparantly.I really loved the tension that this ride built up for me. The drop was great as well. However, I prefere SAW as it lasts longer and is imo a better ride. I sadly didn't get the chance to ride Nemesis as we ran out of time and only got on six rides. But Oblivion was probably my favourite that I managed to ride.

Rita
I really loved it. Great launch. I just wish I could get up the courage to go on Stealth lol. I have this issue with launches. I'm ok going on almost any ride, but if it launches much faster than 60mph I chicken out.Oh well lol. Rita is a fantastic ride. Gave me a really good headrush. It also pulls some decent G's, so it's good.

Peeking Heights
Nice ride. I agree that it was far better at thorpe but oh well. Last time I went on this it was slightly too windy for comfort lol.

Dragon Falls
I adore log flumes. the first thrill ride I ever went on was a log flume and they remain one of my favourite things in the world:)I don't know why I like them so much, I just have such a blast on them. This is no exception. Great second drop and nice scenery.

Rattlesnake
LOVE the ride. A lot of people find it painful or uncomfortable but it remains one of my favourite rides at Chessie. Great airtime on the drops. Oddly, I find the ride relaxing.

Scorpion Express
Fun ride. I have a special place in my heart for this one as it was the first coaster I ever went on. I was terrified back then lol. It's hard to believe that it's the same track layout as Flying Fish. The reason why it's 100 times better than FF imo is becuase it's themed and very creative. It takes you through tunnels etc whereas Fish doesn't really do anything. Great ride!

Quantum
I personally can't tell the difference between Quantom now and five years ago. I try to go on this every visit as 90% percent of the time I get a decent ride out of it. It sure doesn't look intimidating but it's alot more intense than it looks.

Logger's Leap
Can't wait to ride this again in a few weeks. I'm hoping for ques short enough for me to get on all the rides (accept Samurai and zodiac) lol

Slammer
What is it about Slammer that scares people so much?

The Blue Barnacle (Previously Black Buccaneer)
I like the ride but tbh I didn't feel any airtime whatsoever. It was still fun though.

Detonator
I love Detty. It was my first tower ride (other than TOT in Orlando). It's the only ride that no matter how many times I ride it, I still have butterflys in my stomach. Really amazing ride.

Vortex
Thanks for the info. I'll ride it in a couple of weeks if the ques are reasonable.

The Best & Worst Things About THORPE PARK

Vortex
This is one of the only rides in the park that I'm not too sure if I want to go on. I know that Samurai would make me sick but I'm not sure if this would or not. I'll probably give it a try as I have read some very positive reviews of this one.

SAW: The Ride
I'm hoping to get back to Thorpe Wednesday 24th of March. Hopefully Saw will be operating as it is my favourite ride in the country (that I have been on).

Chessington General Discussion
I've just found out that the only time I'm able to go would be during the half term. is there any particular day during the half term thats any quieter than the others?I'm really disapointed because I assume that everything has an hour queue during the half term:(

SAW: The Ride
I decided to ride Saw twice on tuesday, and although doing so took up half of my day at thorpe park, it was certainly well worth itI personally love the ride and it ranks right at the top of my list of best rides at Thorpe Park (along with loggers leap)the inside section is fantastic and has great theming (love that surprise drop, soooo much airtime lol). the main drop is also breathtaking and packed full of airtime and the rest of the ride is very fast and very thrillingI only have two complaints and they are minor. firstly, if your in the first car then you dont get to have billy talking to you on the bike. secondly, the two airtime hills at the end didnt really have much airtime.I dont believe that I will ever find a ride that gets a 10/0 (accept maybe loggers leap) but Saw is a fantastic ride and an awesome addition to the park.9/10
