I had to check the date on this one, thought it was an April fools! One minute they're saying biggest post-olympic project in Britain, not halted for jumping spiders, cant see happening any time soon. Hope I'm wrong but all these things are mere speculation until foundations are built.

Cant wait for this! Will definitely come if I can make it (glad I'm 18 now ). I put all dates apart from May and June as exams kind of take over for this period :/

EC what do you think of speed compared to Saw (or anyone else )

The ghost trains also a great ride and well worth ago. Probably the best in the country! Valhalla, Big one, Steeple Chase and Grand National are all pretty iconic and unique to the park. Again all the woodies are well worth it!

Going over the hill before the tunnel is brilliant front row! Feels almost as intense as Stealth for a moment. Must be one of the best front row experiences a ride offers.

If the weather doesnt get any better or isnt predicted to get any better than it should be pretty empty, if the forecast is good then it could be pretty busy!

By then it was safe to say they were both pretty chilled

The layout looks incredible! The design and compactness of the coaster!!!!!! Looks like the wait will be worth it ... Anyone know whats planned for the screen in the center?

So is there just one route for the trucks or can they take slightly different paths? In the long term it could help to vary it a bit.

There isn't really the sudden shock for an on-ride vid. Revenue probably wouldn't be high enough on a ride like X for the pictures to be viable (think start up costs and staff). Although the tunnels haven't really appeared the lights and sound seem to be good and if needs be then I'm sure Thope will extent the sound system/ improve it.

So after all this they still haven't found a way out!!!!!

Wow 90 mins in the snow! Did people tend to leave early or was it that bad all day?

Really hope the tunnel stays, the bare wooded section ruins the Flume at Alton and if Chessington scrap all their theming the same issue could follow. Still think they'll sort it out though!

The new height restriction sounds great. To be honest there is more risk of falling out of a log flume than getting hurt on a small coaster so I can't see it being a problem. Hopefully it will add a new experience to smaller riders and will add something to the park that X couldn't in the past.

Looking at Dragon Falls now surely the rocks will be replaced. Dragon Falls is a great ride largely because of the theming and land its in and so Chessington wouldn't want the centerpiece of their attraction looking rubbish. As weve seen with the loggers tunnel these things get old and so hopefully its just taking them a while to replace it. Cant be that easy suddenly finding a bunch of fake rocks! Hopefully I'm right here ....

Ride aside the queue section and lead up to the ride should be much better now. A good bit of theming and the whole ride experience could be greatly improved even if the coaster still isn't great.

Cant really judge the billboard as I've only ridden backwards this year so far but the twisted seats do make the experience very different. I didn't enjoy riding backwards that much as all the near misses are lost but going up the lift hill backwards is pretty decent. I think the changed seats are a bit of a novelty but as it doesn't detract from the ride I think its still a good addition.

To follow on from EC I was really impressed that they gave us annual pass holders two free priority passes instead of a free open dated ticket. Its always annoying when rides are shut but can't be helped when its this cold. I think a gesture like this shows that they are really pretty caring about their guests and deserve a lot of credit!

Brilliant meet yesterday and really looking forward to the next! Was great to meet some new people and speak more to others I'd met before. Tidal wave at zero degrees looked like a once in a life time experience that I slightly regret missing now :/ Still loggers in the cold was still pretty extreme and the detty marathon was great too. The spoon game was great too and I'm really proud to have won Many thanks to Peaj for organising the day so well and to everyone for sticking together and making it a great day despite the cold!

Hopefully see you guys tomorrow, shouldnt be snowed in :/

Bubble works and CCR, slightly regret not doing Fungle Safari ... now its gone I cant help thinking I missed out
