Vampire
The One and Only Abdabbbie, to be precise. Unfortunately Abdab looks a bit fake just sitting their with the remains of his inner workings poking out from underneath his robes. I would prefer a bit of sublty. However, I understand that re-dressing Terror Tomb animatronics and plonking them on the ground is a lot easier than fixing, reprogramming and rewiring them up so that they work realistically again.

Tidal Wave
I understand everything you are saying, and I think I should have shown appreciation online (I actually thought I had already at one point but could not find where), but still you can't tell everything. I do want improvments like this to continue because it does make a surprisingly big difference. I know what you mean about people moaning about the broken effects...

Dragon Falls
2 to 3 hours, now only about 2? How do you know this? And is it a bad thing that the queues are slightly shorter? Two hours is still a very long time, extremely popular.

Peeking Heights
They really ought to remove it, I think. It was so much more impressive when it was at Thorpe Park. Still, why was it ever bought in the first place?? A Ferris wheel was never going to work, even after it was moved to Chessington.
-
Vampire
Well it isn't going to be removed in the near future, that has been confirmed. So it doesn't "need to go", but it does look very tired. Hopefully this is being looked at in Chessington's future plans for refurbishment/improvment. As long as Vampire is still the Vampire, the only way it could go is forwards.

Tidal Wave
So how do you know who has noticed and who hasn't? Oh wait, you don't. You just based your conclusion on two posts on this forum. When I heard it was fixed I thought it was a great improvment. But how many posts do you need all saying the same thing? I didn't feel the need to go on about 'yay for fixed effects' and 'ooh good improvment' for what must be the hundredth time. I am usually always one to praise theme parks when little things get better. This time I just didn't.Yesturday I was at Thorpe Park and I loved seeing the fixed sign. I pointed, watched, etc... Is a sign really worth writing an essay about, just to "prove myself to be a loyal fanboy" or whatever?

Dragon Falls
When Dragon River first opened it was sponsored by Signapore Airlines. The ride was meant to take you around different parts of Asia that airlines could take you to.

Tidal Wave
Well I am extremely sorry for not doing my duty as a theme park enthusiast as you have pointed out.Thorpe Park, thank you for fixing your sign.There.

Park Theming & Effects
Stealth and Rita would probably have smoke working roughly the same amount of the time. It has been working fine anyway. The same with Inferno's mist, which has been much better recently in both places, I think.

SAW: Alive
A few of your friends saying they did not want to ride Saw Alive does not mean people can only be scared at Halloween. Your friends are only one thousandth of Thorpe Park's visitors. If they didn't even mention Halloween then I don't have a clue how you came to that conclusion anyway. Think more clearly, Furius. As has been said, Saw Alive was never constructed as a major, crowd-pulling investment. It was more of a follow-up to Saw The Ride to keep it fresh in people's minds.

Bubbleworks
I would have thought it was a bit of the Pressure Room, the Mixing Room, the Space scene and possibly the Testing Room that were above the Vampire station. The Fairground/Bottling Room is too far back near the zoo I thought.

Samurai
It was crazy a few weeks ago, a lot better than all my past rides. I am usually put off riding because it has such a long queue for little thrill, but after my most recent ride that has totally changed. I guess it is very 'on and off'.

Dragon Falls
Lovely new logo! Much better. Very nice colours.Oh but, Juicy Pop Drop? You mean that sweet product with the most awful advert of all time? Nevermind. As long as it is subtle.

Tidal Wave
But...It's just a few signs added? The usual theme is still all there.

X
What difference does it make if a bad ride is older than its target audience? I have never come across anybody who says X No Way Out is a good ride. Fun sometimes to ride with friends, yes, but a good ride, no. And it is an absolute shambles in every aspect. From the sound of it, the ride always has at least 'average'. If it was rethemed properly into a a new and impressing ride then why would it be removed in the near future? The building is hardly in need of demolision and the coaster itself is fine as far as I know. Why leave the concept to die and get worse if you can spend money to make a good ride instead? Like I have said, there is massive potential throughout. If we are all brutally frank, X No Way Out is currently a confusing mess that disappoints probably everybody who rides it. Saying it's "special" or "fun to have a laugh on" does not cover up the fact that it is itself a bad ride. I love it, I am the one who persuades my group to go on it even if the queue is not worth it. I love it. But I still don't pretend that it is actually a waste of what could be done. As if it couldn't be worse, turning the lights on just rubs it in. It is screaming for a big change. I mean... this is X No Way Out for goodness sake! PS Sorry if I am appearing arrogant or missing your point.

X
X desperately needs a retheme. A full blown, spectacular "new ride" "new theme" retheme. Adding a video and music that got turned off after a year is not a retheme. The robots/computer setting needs to be drastically developed. The indoor queueline has massive potential, and there is quite enough room on ride to build sets and effects. The only way I can see this being loved is as a dark ride/coaster mix, like Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios. No work needs to be done on the actual ride, since it works fine doesn't it? And then all the budget can be spent on effects (proper visual effects, not just fans and mist), lighting, set design, theming. That is what I think X needs. Whenever I see all those people lining up for it expecting a great coaster in the dark, I feel sorry for them. Because the ride on the inside is a terrible waste of all this potential for something good. Please Thorpe Park, X No Way Out could be a really cool and unique ride experience, but it is not loved. Don't let it rot.

Bubbleworks
Yes, the warehouse that contains the Vampire break run and station is also the warehouse that contains the whole of Bubbleworks. The building must be pretty big, but it is totally hidden behind the facades of Transylvania. On the exit path, as you come out on to the balcony overlooking the lift hill and break run, you will see a brown door. This door is the emergency exit door beside the giant pressure gauge seen in the Rub a Dub Reactor scene on Bubbleworks. I only worked that out the other day when I heard the music from that scene playing and traced it to that door. Listen out for it next time. That must mean most of Bubbleworks is actually on top of Vampire... Didn't know you could smell it though!

Tomb Blaster
There are five of them? *faints*
-
Tomb Blaster
Yes, I often just sit back and put the gun down. You notice a lot more effects that way and it feels like a pretty good ride. Shooting is OK, but the novelty quickly runs out, especially after a few rides.
-
Tomb Blaster
Glad you liked it, but there were instructions on all the queueline TV screens. Did you not notice them? They were everywhere, and if you had a long queue you could not have missed them.Didn't you notice the glowing lights all over the ride? The little green dots that turned red? Those where the targets, you were meant to hit them.

Scorpion Express
The Flying Fish and Runaway Train are in fact exactly the same, same layout, same speed, same model, etc. In my opinion Runaway Train is far superior because is interacts so much more with theming and it feels very adventurous. Compare that to Flying Fish in which you just go around some drops and helixes with some dry ponds, it feels so bare.Glad you liked it, but they are the same ride!

SAW: The Ride
No, they never ever planned that.Saw was always Saw, but the use of "13" in one of the trailers was simply to hint bad luck.Thirteen was never going anywhere but Alton Towers, it was specifically designed for the Corkscrew site. Why would Thorpe Park want a custom family coaster anyway at that time? When Saw opened it was all about grabbing as much 'horror' and 'thrill' attention as possible.

Park Music
Wonder where you got that information from... Yeah, it's called Burly Brawl by Juno Reactor & Don Davis. I have never watched the Matrix so I didn't know until I used it in a video which was tagged with that label on YouTube. This lead me to find the full length music (below). Most of the music I have heard cuts off early. However, it is still not quite the version used on Samurai because it's too long and, if I remember correctly, does not have that long quiet section. So Samurai must use an edited, shortened version of Burly Brawl. So, here, you could say, is the extended Samurai theme.

Your Alton Towers
Successful career? You would probably get killed by an angry mob of theme park enthusiasts before you reach 2014!Please say you are joking.
-
Your Chessington
What? You can't move a dark ride. They can't be dismantled and rebuilt in random places. Try moving a supermarket, you can't transport it around on the back of a truck, can you? Also, Alton Towers would be left with a huge gap if Charlie was demolished, and as for 'getting rid' of half the zoo... After spending loads of money each year on running, improving and adding to the zoo (it is now one of the best in the UK), why chuck it away? :DAlton Towers is NOT all of about thrills, anyway!? How can you say people only go there for thrills? That isn't the case for any theme park and probably never will be because you have people of all ages and tastes going to these places. Especially families at Alton Towers, since that is actually marketed as a family park. It makes no sense, Charlie is loved enough where it is thanks. But, your logic in demolishing Wild Asia in favour of some tatty slide set is ridiculous and Bubbleworks does not need a sponsor. Sorry if I am coming across as rude, but are you coming up with these silly ideas on purpose??I'm afraid that none of that will work, not for the business or the guests. Sorry!
