I've arrived at Alton plenty of times for 10 and I've never had any trouble entering the park with no hour long wait... Indeed, if you GET to the park an hour early (9 compared to 10 open) and have no AP, you will actually be waiting the hour...Indoor food outlets are hard to come by, but, Woodcutters, Cuckoo BK, KFC, Towers Family Restaurant and Pizza Pasta all exist and Woodcutters for me is one of the best improvements at the park in recent years... Elsewhere I've not ever had much problem with food at the park, even at Courtyard BBQ...Why would anyone do Spinball first is quite beyond me... Of course most people tend towards it because it is the first thing you say (something Towers failed on when placing it), but anyone with sense heads towards either Thirteen, Oblivion or Nemesis first... Indeed, going to the Valley first allows several quick rides in amazing succession...Long walks a problem? Skyride? I'm also one who prefers a nice gap between rides, as it's just as boring doing ride after ride after ride as it can be for people having to walk 10 minutes to another one...Whilst Thorpe has a lot more thrill rides than Towers, it lacks a distinct atmosphere and niceness... I don't feel rushed or cramped at Towers (unless it involves Rita's or Spinball's queue) and that is actually one of the most important aspects to a good day for me... Plus, there's a LOT more for a 7 year old to do at Towers than Thorpe... Unless Bench - the Ride is better at Thorpe these days?Evidently, if you're only doing 4 rides before lunch, you need to rethink your route around the park, as the last time I went to the park and entered at 10 I managed to get on Thirteen, Rita, Air, Nemesis, Charlie, Duel, Mine Train, Rapids and Flume before lunch... There's a definite trick with a route on Alton, and walking from Forbidden Valley back towards the entrance hits this very well...And the day I pay attention to some comments on let's say Facebook, (for example, look at some of the posts on the LC12 video), is the day I lose my sanity...

It defo needs to be a much more 'make-believe' war (aliens, zombies kind of thing), otherwise it could get very touchy in the case of sensitivity...

So dangerous that we've heard nothing all weekend?Could have been anything, and since we've had no news reports from anyone, then well, it's safe to say nothing of importance was lost...

That awkward moment when you realise someone is actually that stupid...Wonder how some people manage to exit their house in the morning or even get to the parks... Or do the turnstiles have some IQ sapping device that affects people?

And a celeb has never died before?I well and truly feel sorry for you with these opinions... Just because a bomb exploded in a warzone before or one guy shot a load of people happened before DOESN'T MEAN **** TO IT HAPPENING AGAIN!It's still a bad and upsetting event... And to really just put this down as non-events is absolute absurb and actually dis-respectful to those who have died innocently...

No-one here is doubting her talent as a musician...BUT, to say such a throwaway point on those who have died in bombs which are MUCH more tragic and cause so much more pain, in comparison to someone with a famous drug habit? Have some respect for those who died from bombs/shootings...

Possibly, but personally I don't hold sympathy for anyone (such as Kurt Cobain, who shot himself) who after a long history of drug abuse, refusing rehab and whatever else in comparison to 80 odd innocent people who got shot down... Thing is, why should she get more attention than the Norway and Somalia situations currently going on... Everytime someone famous dies it seems the world has to stop for them and it often overshadows other bigger news at the time... The fact that this seems bigger than other tradegies is more upsetting to me than her death...EDIT -

List of musicians who have died at the age of 27...Thing is, with the very public history of drug/drink stuff, something that people tried to help with on several ocassions, it's hard to be so sympathetic when it was her choice to start and continue on drugs...

No respect for the dead?Ok, so obviously the next time some murderous cokehead gets executed for killing a child, everyone who says it's his own fault should have the same treatment...Sorry but, regardless of her talent as a singer, she was addicted, and narrowly avoided death several times, so yeah, it kinda is her fault that she didn't kick the habit earlier...
