  1. ^That is tres nom...It's making me think really hard about going to Hamburg instead of Europa...

Any football fan can (and should) feel saddened about something like this, regardless of who they support...It really changed that era of United, being Bubsy and all that...I may as well add, 50 million and doesn't even play 90 minutes on his debut? Lol...
  3. If you can, get to the Studios about 45 minutes BEFORE it's 10am (if it's still that) opening time...That way, when they let people in at 9:30, you can go straight to the Crush queue and hopefully miss out a 90 minute queue... Of course Playland will make a difference but I'd still plump for Crush first... Then hit up Playland...Aside from Crush, the only other main coaster that will have a massive queue is BMT, so fast-pass all the way...Space Mountain is ok... I don't find it THAT bad apart from the back row...Rock n Roller Coaster is awesome... Do that a lot if you can...Try and see Cinemagique and/or Animagique... Both are really good shows and actually make you able to spend a day in the Studios...For the Magic Kingdom, if you wanna do stuff like Peter Pan and Dumbo they WILL have the longest queues... Small World's queue varies wildly so you can probs just wait that one out...Staying on site also means Magic Hours in Kingdom... If you can, use them... You get Discoveryland and Fantasyland so that's several majorly busy attractions you can do before the park gets REALLY busy... And allows good set-up positioning for Frontierland...
  4. ^I was just about to post that...It looks incredibly graceful and reminds me a lot of Air... A very good thing imo... Cannot wait to ride this...

I find the title of that show misleading tbh...There's nothing joyous about teen sex... Especially with Channel 4's general demographic...
  6. Having experienced Tatsu, and found it extremely painful, there is more than one terminology of pain in regards to coaster rides...Just because it's a B&M doesn't automatically prevent it from being painful in some respects... And based off my Vekoma flyer experience, the loop was the WORST part of that ride... Vertical loops and Flyers should probs be shunned...And that's not even going on about that turn Mark posted... That is bloody ridiculous and anything could happen depending on how the speed is...
  7. And this is called "Starry Night Ripper"...
  8. 18th Feb... The day before Half Term opens...And it has generated a MASSIVE reponse... Just read their Facebook page and link in the fact that their new website crashed after they revealed it and I'll find you'll find that the reponse has been exactly what they want it to be... Even if the majority of people on their Facebook are stupid as hell...
  9. Looks nom...Hopefully we'll get some better photos soon...
  10. Treatment that you already get through exit passes... So what if you have a time limit on them? It's to stop abuse... Quite simple... Tough taters if you sit there bored... Least you're sitting whilst waiting...Go to Chessie, least the majority of rides there you don't have to wait for... Only the major ones require a wait...
  11. If I had a fiver for everytime I heard a "NWO will be rethemed next year", I wouldn't be relying on student loans to get me through uni...
  12. I'm assuming this list is the timed queue rides?Zodiac dunno why but Samurai yes... They didn't extend that queue for no reason...Having to wait in a 'queue' is the best way to do it... It works brilliantly when staff are vigilant about it...
  13. Sexy...No suprise it crashed yesterday considering the Facebook Event thing...Surely that's worth a talk about?Towers running a day where if you turn up and check-in on Facebook, you get free entry... Same line up as Half Term (So no Thirteen or Rita), and the first 100 people get free night in hotel...It'll be a nightmare...

    Smarmy git....
  15. Another one to add to my list...Phantom's Revenge at Kennywood...Sure it looks like a green version of the Big One... But it damn well ain't the Big One I can tell you... Firstly, the second drop is LARGER than the first, and plummets down the side of the cliff the parks sits on underneath one of their Wooden coasters...Then this second picture describes what happens in the second half...There is actually a stupidly high amount of airtime on this... Possibly more than Tonnerre de Zeus and others... It was quite frankly such a suprise and doesn't get much respect as it deserves...To Kennywood and Morgan!
  16. Some concept art... Taken off Screamscape...
  17. Polishing a turd then?I wouldn't get excited... It's still going to be the same duck related crap...

Yeah, Chelsea spending £50 mill on Torres is great business considering how bad he's been this year...Sickening money anyways all around...Ohhhh, actually Palace had a good window compared to the last couple of years... Horray!
  19. Evidently you'd be very very suprised how massive the difference is...
  20. ^Not really...Chessie and Alton regularly die out around 5-6pm during their longer days in the summer... As the majority of families leave early to avoid traffic/tired kids/etc...Chessie over Halloween in the last few hours is dead more often than not... Towers and Thorpe get guests coming in for day and night stuff, so it varies a lot more...Thing is with our leisure industry atm, it's really not worthwhile the parks extending the hours when the people aren't there... And I don't think the parks will ever really get the amount of people that would even warrant later closing on a REGULAR basis... Yes there have been weeks when Chessie closed at 7 during the summer (08 was the worst, but I avoided that week), but it just doesn't happen regularly enough for them to change it all to 7, especially as when that means the majority of their workers would also have to go home due to work hours and under 18 rules...Plus, the UK parks when busy most of the time cannot seem to handle the numbers... You know when Chessie hits 10k+ because it's noticeable, same for when Thorpe's packed solid... And Lego... Towers I can't say for 100% certainty but I can imagine it being a similar situation...Unless we were able to have serious expansions of everything, a few extra thousand in each park would be a bloody nightmare for all involved...
  21. As if the contract ending will mean any major changes this year...
  22. How many do it on a regular basis? The UK park employees are just also not brilliant, due to various laws and what-not for working and stuff... Chessie during Halloween was a mess last time I worked there cos they had to mess around with timetables for all those under 18s... Dunno bout Thorpe and Towers, but quite frankly it's a logisitical nightmare when you consider the UK transport system... Hard enough to get to some of our parks as is...It might be perfectly possible, but is it at all logical? No...
