Have taken a look. Its likely I'm working most of the dates. (Though that can change) Its unlikely I will attend as most of these activity's are available closer to home and I doubt I can get to Guildford and back easily in one day. I will confirm if I plan to attend when dates are finalised. -

Leisburg is booked. I'm hoping to visit Europa Park to. I plan to visit Thorpe, Alton Towers and maybe Blackpool and Chessington to.

Hi guys, Couple of questions. 1) Were is the best place to get info from for summer 2017 for buses and trains from Basel Airport to Europa? 2) Does anybody have any links to info on private shuttles from Europa to Basel Airport?

To be honest I feel giving people plenty of notice of meets helps. I also have to pre book time off as I work shifts. Also has I don't live local to parks knowing the dates 12 weeks in advance ensures I can take advantage of advance train fares which are much cheaper than buying closer to the date of the meet.

Unfortunately although I will be off work that day I will be working till late the night before and working all day the Sunday. To get on the Saturday based on that and transport it would mean I would only be able to attend 11am to 5pm and thats with trains been on time. That and also the main attractions I want to do in London been winter wonderland and London Eye been carried out out side these hours and the fact I have no annial leave to use I will have to give this a miss which is a shame. I may have been able to request the full weekend off but to do that I would have needed the dates of this meet confirmed by the end of September. However its been great meeting everybody this year and I wish Peaj all the best in the future and look forward to seeing you all in 2017.

Wouldn't it be beneficial to set up an event listing if the date is confirmed. At least then people will see what the plan of the day is etc.

I do plan on visiting winter wonderland. I don't think it be the day of the meet though.

Bit of an update on the closure from the Grimsby Telegraph. Seems to be that the feeling is that North East Lincolnshire Council is not promoting tourism enough in North East Lincolnshire. As much as I don't have a lot of trust in local government I'm not really sure it would be the local authorities responsibility to promote the park. Cleethorpes can get quite busy in the summer and parts of Cleethorpes have expanded over time. Maybe they could but I question whether there is the demand to remain open in the winter in the uk. Also some rides wouldn't be able to open in certain weather conditions to.

About 3hr 40 mins by train n bus for me.
