Yeah I noticed the I'm a Celebrity music playing in Inferno's station - surely that must be a mistake as it doesn't suit the ride at all.
-
It's not nitpicking though, it looks as though they couldn't be bothered to create a good photo. This is the supposed UK's leading theme park we're talking about, it just looks very badly done IMO.
-
Damage caused by the road rather than people, I've read numerous complaints about ripped tyres etc. Reading one review, they said that they counted 10 Fastrack, 6 disabled queue and 8 from the main queue on each train. Ridiculous.
-
Just like in the day time then. Seriously though, it does sound like that, hopefully it's just the way it's worded.
-
I hope this is the case, it just seems strange as the original posters did look very different to these in design as well as the slogan. I'm probably just thinking into it too much though, after all at this stage they are probably using marketing to keep people guessing rather than to reveal what the theme will actually be.
-
I disagree. Promotional teasers are vital to the success of an attraction and if done right can stick in people's minds for days, this is nothing short of shoddy and yes, people will have forgotten it by tomorrow, but only because it is so poorly done.

Just scrolling through the visitor posts on the Facebook page and I'm seeing things like "queue advertised as 120 minutes, still in it three hours later." Three hours?! Also interesting to note that people have had damage done to their cars in the grass car park, yet they have the nerve to stop customers parking in the concrete car park without paying £10?
-
Whilst it's throughput isn't great (it used to run a lot more cars, like pretty much every ride at BPB), it wouldn't get queues stretching back to the fountain if it wasn't popular. It's a unique coaster and a lot of fun, and most people come off the ride laughing like mad.
-
If it's on the beach, I hope it's a high throughput as I remember the ridiculous queues that The Curse, and later Se7en got in that location. Presume this means we'll see the return of the white tents? Although with a Circus theme there is potential to theme them quite easily.
-
With the change of banners on the signs around the ride, I'm convinced they changed their mind about the theme half way through the project as "there's a dark secret coming" and "minds wanted" sound like two very different slogans, and the style of posters is also different.
-
Wonder who's doing the advertising for Scarefest this year? That picture is not the standard I would expect to be coming from Alton Towers.
-
The dome is still an impressive building IMO and could be a really good area. I would like to see it given a major overhaul with a completely different colour scheme and removal of all the remaining Atlantis theming.
-
Two hours for Bubbleworks? They must be joking surely?!
-
Yeah it was and the ride has had a question mark over it since, thankfully it wasn't removed then but BPB want it out now apparently.
-
I don't actually know of specific sources, but I have heard from people I trust that they may be considering the ride's removal. It could be a rumour (let's hope it is), but I thought it was worth mentioning so that people don't miss out on a chance to get a last ride on it, if it were to be removed. Also, the land rover has a tyre cover with Project 2017 written on it, and it is an official BPB vehicle. (Photo of the vehicle can be found if you scroll down on this Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/PBExperience?fref=ts )

Just a heads up for anyone wanting to ride the Wild Mouse, I would highly suggest you visit before the end of this season as there are numerous sources pointing towards it's removal at the end of the year.
-
Yep my brother is on park as well, he's told me that all coasters are on one train and that even Rush is only on one swing. What is going on with Thorpe at the moment? That's ridiculous on any ride, when will they learn?
-
Now that looks like the true definition of a world class ride.
-
When talking about theme parks, most people have one park which got them into rides before they started visiting more parks. For me, my first park was Paulton's, however I started to get into slightly bigger rides at Funland, Hayling Island (where they had a Pinfari Zyklon coaster which I thought was amazing ), however BPB really turned me into a theme/amusement park fan when I first visited the park in 2004. Which was your first theme park, or the one that started your enjoyment of rides?
-
What's the throughput for Bubbleworks when filling up all boats?
-
Valhalla doesn't have a track Surely the theming quality can be compared despite what the attractions are? Also I wasn't limiting it to just WC12 as comparison.
-
Just comparing at the standard of 2016 additions at Paultons compared with Thorpe. A better comparison would have been Angry Birds Land actually as that was a new area - coloured paint and vinyl stickers.
-
Two new scare experiences sounds promising, and quite handy that they've already got circus theming (Alton Towers) if they are building a circus themed maze/attraction. I just hope it isn't just Carnival of Screams plonked down at Thorpe, but I wouldn't have a problem with them reusing some of the props.

Hang on a minute... People paid to enter the park under the impression that Island Beats would be on, and then they called it off? Not good at all if that was the case.
