  1. Looks good in my opinion, and great to see that they are still using the fire Surely the main queue only having five rows really slows it down, or am I wrong?
  2. Serves them right in my opinion!

    Logger's Leap

Can we please get off the topic of the rope??! In the Loggers leap topic, really? We know you don't like it, most of us don't care because it is something that the ride needs to have to open! The Loggers leap tunnel is a different matter, it actually impacts on the ride experience and the ride won't be the same without it!
  4. Looking good! A big surprise to see Oakwood theming an area this well

I would like to see this theme music back in the queueline: http://youtu.be/_MVWOY9cRsI As for the music played whilst you are actually on the ride, what they use currently would be ok - but much, much louder than it was last year! There is no point in playing rave music on a ride if you can only just hear it.

I would hate to see it removed, it's a classic attraction and if refurbished well still has years left in it.

I really hope so, the indoor queueline as it was last year was awful - they did update it a bit before the beginning of last season, but only a tiny bit and it wouldn't have really been noticable to most people. Bring the robots back I say!
  8. Quite like the changes, not sure what to make of it just being called X but I'm sure it will all become clear. It would be nice to have a map that can actually be used as a map though
  9. At least their not advertising an intamin family rollercoaster with an indoor section (which I hasten to add is a great ride, but not what they hyped it to be) as the world's most intense, thrilling and terrifying rollercoaster!

    Logger's Leap

Very poor if they haven't replaced it in my opinion. It was what made the ride and the drop actually felt reasonably big in the dark, in the light it's probably exactly the same as the first drop on Dragon Falls at Chessington.
  11. To be honest I thought they had it all sorted for opening day/weekend because they were giving off that impression (kind of), obviously I was wrong. I should have known better

  13. Not forgetting "The call to adventure"
  14. Oops, sorry not with it today Anyways, I thought it was quite a good idea to have it to look like a plane advert because it links with the plane crash site around the first drop. I wonder if it will say the same on the other side? Either way, it's going to look amazing in the front row when you are heading towards the billboard seeing it gradually get closer
  15. I never got to experience the original Bubbleworks, which is probably why I quite enjoy the new one. After watching a POV of the old on on youtube though I can see that it used to be much better - such a shame they decided to ruin it with a sponsorship. Also, the fountain final should be restored to it's original glory, we should have the strobe lights and mirrors back!
  16. The winning slogan is probably on the other side of the billboard though, they wouldn't tell someone their slogan won and then not use it. (But then, this is Thorpe park we are talking about...)

    Pets

I've got two cats, Chaos and Misty They are brother and sister, Chaos is very loud and vocal and just generally crazy whereas Misty is quiet and shy (but still a little bit mad!) They fight a lot as well!

    Th13teen

Th13teen is a good ride, but would be/was better without the trims. A shame that they are needed to be honest - but I think that the indoor section is the best part of the ride anyway

    Slammer

I really enjoy Slammer and I hope they keep it for years to come, but I can see why they would want to remove it. It causes them nothing but trouble, costs a lot to run and barely works - and it's not even that popular. Whilst I would hate to see it go, I can see why it would have to.
  20. That concerns me if they haven't got it sorted yet, can it really be done in under two weeks? (Main season) If not then we would either see one train operation or a very complicated queueing system - either or which would be awful but not something that I would put past thorpe! On a bright note though, I am liking the look of that Billboard
  21. I know they might nearer the time, but if someone wanted to go on it and was planning a trip they might wait until after it reopens, which they couldn't do if Thorpe didn't make the information public until too close to the time. (Not everyone hates it you know! I for one quite enjoy it, so do my friends and we're all major thrill seekers.)
  22. They should state on the website that it's not going to be open for a few weeks at the start of the season if it isn't.
  23. The rope is there for a reason, to be honest it isn't that noticeable and I'm sure you would be glad of it if you were stuck at the top. It doesn't really detract from the overall appearance of the ride in my opinion.

    Slammer

Thorpe should have signs at the entrance saying something like "The only ride of it's type in the world" or something like that.
