? Far from perfect, but seems like a much fresher looking and easier to navigate site to me.

Just a way to persuade people to buy tickets before they can see a weather forecast. The park has a capacity every day, so it's no lie!

Australia - Worker fatally injured dismantling unidentified ride.

I really don't think it takes that much power to run Air. That massive ball on the other end is a counterweight, so although there is a lot of weight to move it is quite well balanced. Where do you propose they are pulling the power of a town from? The ride did cost about a million pound though, so servicing that debt can't be cheap.
-
Sir, this is not the ride for you.

If they are filling the thing up even with a very short ride cycle and £7 a seat then they are clearly charging the right price. I quite agree that there are obviously a lot of stupid people about, prepared to pay so much for so little, but they would be insane to give more than they they can get away with while actually preventing themselves from taking the next lots money at the same time.

Wow, that's brilliant! Is that the accommodation the athletes stayed in? If so, do they tell you who was in yours?

Wales - Minor incident on starflyer, can't imagine there are any injuries. Always an exciting moment when one of these things e-stops! Not a whole lot that can be done about that happening really.
-
Altitude. Literally doesn't know what day it is! Quite a tune though.

Very guilty. How many times will he get away with releasing Animals in a slightly different order?

2014 is nearly done, stuff has happened, so I thought I'd dust off this mildly unsuccessful topic from last year. What were the best bits for you? Feel free to add any categories. Album of the year Royksopp - The Inevitable End. Sadly, they've said it'll be their final album. Thankfully, it's awesome. Song of the year Lilly Wood and the ***** - Prayer in C. The never-ending sound of summer. Music Video of the year Kiesza - Hideaway. Brilliant one-take vid for a brilliant track. Film of the year Saving Mr Banks. Beautiful story behind the Disney Marry Poppins film, with some of the best casting ever seen. TV Show of the year Toast of London. The first series passed me by somehow, now I've found it I've found it is the best thing in a long time. So damn funny, Matt Berry might be my favorite person in the world. Sporting Moment of the year Has to be Lewis Hamilton wining the F1 title for the second time, absolutely deserved over Rosberg. Thankfully the stupid double points rule did not play a part in the decider. Personal Moment of the year It's been a really quite year for me tbh. Feel like I've achieved very little.

... so it's a bit of a design flaw then, as that surely shouldn't be the case. Answers my question though, there is a reason that Saw is unlikely to be included in the line up!

Thanks for these, love reading reports of places I've never heard of and will almost certainly never go to. Some very interesting and unusual parks there, I'm normally up for trying everything but some of those contraptions look genuinely risky!

I've been on Rage in actual snow, so Eurofighters in general can operate in low temperatures. Saw shouldn't be completely discounted, unless someone knows anything specific about Thorpes model that makes it different?
-
Construction update from TowersStreet I like the little quirky design bits like the roof, but them all being so close to each other and being identical it takes away from it a little bit, hopefully they will appear more individual somehow when they are complete.

Haha, brilliant. "I'll just leave some literature with you sir..."

Excellent. Wonder when we'll find out the all important ride line up will be. And what will be open among the inevitable snow drifts we'll see this year...

Just the second week in and the dj can't manage it! Looks like we'll all go to our graves not knowing what toofpikks favourite song is. Next up, Altitude...
