  1. I cannot deny that I tried to do this... It works best at the back because of how the splash effect is out of time, I managed to get a wet hand only once out of riding 3 times on the right though.
  2. Wild Eagle looks to have sooo many near misses from the supports and especially the ground after the immelman loop
  3. Agreed with that, at first I thought The Swarm was Thorpe's version of Nemesis, despite both being very original, Swarm was no where near as intense but much more similar to to Air.
  4. Next time I'm there I'm gonna try 5th row back on the right as some have suggested it is a perfect balance of factors.Hope you had fun WhiteKnuckle, sounds like a good day !
  5. Aw thanks for the appreciation guys, makes it all the more worth while!
  6. Just annoying for them to get our hopes up with a second train for them to put it back I guess, it isn't a huge problem, its sort of funny to look back on now
  7. Went TP yesterday for the first time this year and captured loads of photos, the best of which are posted here but the full set can be found here:http://s1088.photobu...!cpZZ1QQtppZZ20And my all-time favourite:Really, really good ride - I find it very comparable to Air, partly due to the similar restraint system designed for comfort, but mainly due to how it's not intense, it is just incredibly fun and re-ridable.SAW and Nemesis Inferno were walk-on at many points in the day which was both satisfying and shocking. It seemed a few schools had an inset day (Woking High in particular) so it was practically a school trip to TP... it seemed they moved around the park in one big group hence the fluctuating queue times.Storm Surge was diabolical, the pads have been absolutely ruined and are in desperate need of redoing - the ride was fairly intense at the start of the season, now it's just a sh!t rumba rapids that doesn't get you wet or excited, a foot massage is really the only positive element of this ride at this point.Hope you enjoyed the report, tried not to make it too text-heavy :)A very good day and a very good time to go as the schools hadn't broken up yet
  8. Apologise for the train not working and wasting our time
  9. They said the ride will not be operating for 5/10 mins while we get the 2nd train on. Then they made a brief apology and we started boarding again another test run
  10. They kept us in the dark about why it wasn't working, there were sighs in abundance as the train was sent back though...
  11. Single train operation all day yesterday until we got to the very front of the airgates when they decided to bring the other train on, after this, they decided it was broken and sent it crawling back to it's shed - fantastic.

    2 For 1?

You get a lot of questions answered by reading the small print, but yeah you can use them as a 16 year old and you just give them to the person at the ticket kiosk. And they will charge you for just one ticket. Make sure you carry a couple of other 241s as reserves and remember to bin the ones from last year
  13. Is this wednesday a busy time to go?Also, am I right in thinking that the annual pass booth opens at 9:30 because I need to renew my AP?
  14. Will it be busy on wednesday do you think?
  15. Will you be able to enter the Swarm area from both sides of Depth Charge then?

    Oblivion

    He definately IS looking down
  17. I think it's only fair to give celebs exit passes because otherwise they would be harassed in the ordinary queue line and that's unfair if they just want a nice day out. However, getting to ride it first is wrong.
  18. He angers me; all he said was untrue and the fact he gets to ride it first angers me further
  19. I think it's due to the lack of cylinder shapes on the track, the supports are just square and horrible, as is the lifthill.

    The Smiler

Very B&My looking track in the pics
  21. DK's lifthill looks so shallow compared
