  1. Those are from the photo's. And because they're recent and they are still on display I'm presuming this is still what they're planning to do they just didn't want to delay opening of the ride. If it isn't the case and it will not surround the drop, I'll be most disappointed as I think this would of made the ride a much better experience overall.
  2. That is quite humourous, I hope they don't expect them to be taken seriously, they made me laugh though.'Hard, fast and up in seconds.' - I laughed.
  3. When I first this I immediately thought, for people's reassurance of safety. I know that roller coasters are one of the most safest forms of transport, but I agree that it feels weird not putting one on at other parks. It also makes you slightly paranoid of other parks without them you're like HUH NO SEATBELT!??
  4. Really? I sat in the back a few years back and I'm not usually one to complain about rough rides but it killed my neck so bad. My parents agreed. I love Colossus, it's my favourite ride but I would of thought it would get rougher as time progresses not smoother?
  5. Yeah but it's just the proposed height was meant to be bigger and I prefer bigger personally! But I can imagine Thorpe said the budget for the ride is 20M but the entire project for the land as well includes that, I agree with whoever said to make it sound more impressive. I've still got my hopes up on the seats spinning either way!
  6. I'm a bit disappointed about the height, I thought it was going to be taller. But again like I said, I'm ecstatic to see construction start! Or they'll turn round and be like, construction? no that's the theming.
  7. I wouldn't call this ride great news! It's based on destruction haha! But I'm looking forward to it, I think LC12 is going to be a larger scale version of this to be honest, Raptor/X-Raptor is just to see the response from the general public and hopefully this is gonna be bigger and better. Also, it says it's gonna be like 127ft? I swear it was meant to be taller then that
  8. I never even realised that Medusa thing was there until you just showed me a picture of it.EDIT: PLANS FOR LC12 HAVE BEEN APPROVED.
  9. Logger's Leap is amazing, I love it so much ,it's a classic. As for a water ride outside the UK? Ripsaw Falls owns Logger's Leap by a mile.
  10. Either way, I'm looking forward to LC12, especially if it a 4D coaster. I think Thorpe are finally going to pull their finger out thinking they can just pass rides off as 'good attempts' with the lack of theming. I believe Thorpe will change things around, £18m in a coaster, a high budget! Also, if this fails, it is still a very large coasters AND for another thing there's the next coaster as well 2015 I believe which is slightly smaller, BUT STILL OVER 100FT. So either way, I'm happy, I just think most things need a refurb and a bit more theming added. Thorpe have the budget and money, so they should, hopefully they will see sense if the theming proves fantastic on LC12 with the GP response and will add more to their current rides.
  11. That is a strange looking drop for Ben10 if that is actually a drop. Went a couple of years ago and it wasn't too bad.
