When I say burn, I mean out the sweet things you get on the oranges over the flame so they go all toasty like marsh mellows. Don't worry I'm not some sadistic arsonist who goes round burning places of worship ;)This is the first year I've been excited for Christmas for a while though. For the past few years it's just been a opportunity to see the family and receive nice presents from loved ones. This year however, I'm just really in a Christmas mood. Even though there is no snow or particularly frosty weather where I am, I just feel like the atmosphere of Christmas is really kicking in. I always find boxing day really depressing though...

My sister got all pissy because I took her sellotape to wrap her present with, so I threatened to take it back.My Christmas consists of the following: Shower, Presents, Play PS3 all day with a small break for Lunch, then sleep. But for the past 3 years, me and a mate have gone to the local Church Christingle. Neither of us are entirely religious, but we always take the opportunity to have some fun when were given a free orange, candle and easily burning sweets... I don't really have any special Christmas traditions other than sweating it out on the new PS3 games I get, but I'm hoping to carry on the Christingle tradition with my mate for as long as possible!

Before anybody mentions it, I didn't post this because of FIFA

I place my bests on Suzanne Roper starting another lawsuit against Alton, slowly dragging her self into even deeper financial disrepute as soon as SW7 opens because it's 'too noisy' .
-
I'd imagine Alton is going to use the grass behind the black hole tent too right? Even though the footprint is quite large, I very much doubt this will be a tall extravagant ride like Nemesis or Oblivion, if this actually is the area for SW7. If it was big it would:1. Take away attention from Oblivon2. Look very out of place in such a compact area.I just see this being something along the lines of Rita, just not launched and hopefully with a bit more of an interesting layout. Even though it is early days, I also put my money on this being another Intamin. Even with layouts as compact as Hair Raiser, Daemonen etc. I just don't see a B&M fitting into that area well enough. Hopefully I can be proved wrong, but if this is the SW7 area, then I really can't see a ride that does Alton wonders like Nemesis or Oblivion does.

Faced a very angry Mother Louise today after some incidents in London... We went for a mooch around the shops because my materialistic personality leads me to enjoy such things, and my mum was stupid enough to drag me into a Church ceremony in aid of the homeless around Christmas. I was with a mate and he was making fart noises during the readings. I was laughing to the point that I almost fell over when I stood up for a hynm. We ended up leaving and, whilst wiping tears of laughter from my face I had to hang my head in shame/hysterics in front of an estimated 200+ people. Mother Louise was not happy... St. Martins in the Filed Anglican Church: Trafalgar Square, London.(bearing in mind the Church was full and there is also a 2nd Story of seating not shown in this picture) You can guess the size of the Church I showed my self up in...

Don't get me wrong this looks amazing, but on the middle picture, the track doesn't seem to be finished? Either this was taken before track construction was finished and there is a lot more progress as of now, or the track isn't properly completed (which I highly doubt because RMC are over in Spain now for Shambhala. It could just be the end of some transfer track, but I thought that was to the left of the station from that viewpoint and that does look like the entrance back into the station after the break run... I'm confused o.O

I think things like that are really nice. I'm straight myself and none of the issues mentioned in that video have ever involved me, but I can really relate to the video and the people going through the issues included for some reason. There's this one as well which I thought was rather touching when I first saw it:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7skPnJOZYdA

Saw Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows earlier, and it was potentially one of the worst movies I have ever seen in a cinema. That's not so much due to the film, but because of the circumstances I was viewing it under. I haven't seen the first Sherlock Holmes, and seeing the second one is a direct continuation, I will admit the film would not have made a lot of sense. Secondly, there was a group of little sh*ts running up and down the isle of the cinema for the duration of the film. The scrawny, pre-pubescent little f*ckers we screaming, jumping over seats and throwing pop corn at each other for a long time before they left. By now the whole film had been ruined for me because I didn't understand anything going on. The parts of the film I did concentrate on watching were in fact very good, and the action scenes were very intriguing and had me on the end of my seat. The ending had an surprising twist and there was the odd comical moment which all added up to make fairly good film. To me however, the film lacked any clarity which I considered a negative aspect. Everything seemed very metaphorical and the way Holmes' character was portrayed really contributed to clarifying the synopsis of the whole film. It's hard to explain without spoilers but certain aspects about Holmes' character and the metaphors used to symbolism him explained why the plot took the route it did. Again, I would be able to elaborate what I mean if I actually understood the movie, but from the parts I did watch, I saw it to be very cleverly thought out. The way certain plans devised by Holmes and Watson were executed was very impressive and the metaphors used to describe the Protagonist were very well thought out. I just feel for those who haven't watched the first film and those who may not be able to understand the background of the film, it may have been a load of action scenes and the odd comical moment end on end with a vague story line being followed. Over all, I would rate Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows 6/10 for its some what confusing story line (main reasons stated above) but I would jump at the chance to watch both of the films so I can fully understand them for myself. They both seem to have potential to be very good films if you have the mindset to understand them, but unfortunately, until I get the opportunity to do just that, I will stick by what I have said above.

JoshC.'s Review of the Thorpe Park Season - 2011
JackR replied to JoshC.'s topic in Your Planned Trips and Reports
Wow, that was astonishing Josh. A really interesting read and some great pictures. The effort you must have put into that review is amazing. Thanks from me and, hopefully, on behalf of a lot of the forums members! -
Don't click on this if you're easily scared: http://s3.noelshack....girlef8fz27.jpgThe point is it's funny to troll people with. Randomly comment on peoples statuses with it and see how they react. I flow of my chair and hid under my desk and my sister ran out of the room screaming...

I originally thought it would be pronounced as 'Oz' (The Wizard of Oz) 'Iris' (the thing in your eye) before I researched it. This is however coming from the boy who thought 'Leviathan' was pronounced 'Lev-ee-ah-than'. For somebody who is supposed to be good at English, my pronunciation skills can be pretty shocking....

Try washing it more thoroughly and blow-drying it with intervals to brush it back into shape. I never just dry my hair all in one go because it knots up, and if I use hairspray it makes it that much harder to get rid of. Maybe that's the same problem for you?I'm cutting down on the amount of hairspray I use to make it seem a tad more natural. I always used to have a fixated shape with brush marks in. Now I'm trying to brush it, then use a hair dryer to blow it in the desired direction, but give it a slightly less 'perfect' look. My rant is about how my hair always blows in the wind, no matter how much hairspray I use, so using less of the marvellous stuff should lead to this even more so.Also, we had a interform competition today and I was supposed to be playing football. The teacher asked for a volunteer from my form and I put my hand up thinking it would be to play for the form with less people. Turned out I spent an hour in the cold playing netball with the girls, being mocked by all my mates... O.o

It's a really prestigious accolade to have I guess. Our head boys read at special services/events, organise things like open evenings, and control a lot to do with the school as well. Teachers have said I'd be good for the job, and to be honest it's something I'd really like to do

I know two people who are so unbelievably two faced... They would bitch about you if was gone for 10 seconds to put something in the bin lets just say. I've been out and when one of my mates went to say hello to somebody he knew walking past, they started bitching about how "gay" his shirt looked with the trousers he was wearing! It's people like that who I want to kick in the winky

God some of the little children are so aggravating. Yesterday, one year Seven jumped on another Year Seven's back as he was walking down the stairs. Both of the flew forward clearing about 4 or 5 steps, one with the posture of a 'dolphin dive' on Black Ops whilst the other was on his back, kind of as if he was riding a horse...

My eyebrows aren't actually that chunky, I have a lovely photo of you with a blanket on your head I would also be happy to post on here... ;)Plus I'd love to be head boy, imagine the detentions you could hand out to the little sh*ts in lower years.

All went fantastic tonight, a turn out of roughly 200 and the Mayor of Bromley etc. Head teacher and two senior staff said I nailed it so I'm gunna take their word that I done okay. It's also really boosted my confidence to go for head boy when I'm old enough as my old teacher said I would be good for the job... Plus I got a KFC out of it so things went better than expected Thanks for the support Sidders and Lauren, look at you hair

Have to read an extract from the Bible for a Christmas ceremony for my school tonight. I could have gone out, but instead I must read to the Mayor of Bromley amongst about 150 others in a packed Church...

Don't question my unusual ways, but sometimes I get this feeling that somebody has removed the flesh from my baby toe and has started rubbing the bone against something rough like sandpaper. Undeniably, that is extremely weird and when ever I get the thought, I squirm on the spot. I had it reading a chapter from George Orwell's 'Animal Farm' in English not too long ago and although it doesn't compare to the physical pain you guys suffer from, it really gets to me at times...

I was on TowersTimesRadio last night, said hello for everybody in chat and asked the presenter about his appendage for Sidders... Defiantly going on to troll him another time

Ahhh thanks, my question kind of goes for all the parks other than the Disney ones. I'm not bothered about queues because I'm going mid February which kind of explains its self... But I do remember the reliability being okay through out each park, I just wanted to check if they are consistently reliable so I know what to expect when I go. Thanks to everyone who answered
-
Every time I've been to Sea World or Busch Gardens, I've never queued for a roller-coaster for more than 20 minutes. This was at Halloween and mid-august btw. I know the queues will be short but I really don't want any rides to shut down because travelling all the way to Florida for a shut ride will not make me happy
-
Is the reliability of the rides in Busch Gardens any good? I went once in 2005 and once in 2008 so I don't really remember much about it The last thing I want is getting there and having something like Montu shut, so even though you can't predict exactly, does the ride reliability tend to be any good at Busch Gardens Africa?
