Forbidden Journey wasn't that amazing. That may be down to the fact that I'm not keen on Harry Potter though. I think Spidey is much cooler because of all the 'drops' you do off of buildings and the fire effects etc.

^I thought that too to be honest. It just looks a bit wet in certain patches If the floor is weathered though then Thorpe would have 'fixed' one of the faults I made a while back.

This was discussed in another topic. They will be in Dublin as part of their tour on opening day so I highly doubt You Me At Six will be playing at The Swarms opening! They did release a video for one of their songs tonight (not sure which one) and I wasn't over keen on it, or many of the bands other songs. Hopefully this wont reflect on my opinion of The Swarm's queue music.

Nothing annoys me more than when people do this on Yahoo Answers or similar sites... Or when somebody asks a question so incredibly stupid; that image Pluk posted in the Random Picture Thread about ejaculating in a fish tank is a prime example.

I couldn't agree with the above post more. As much as I don't like the songs of this band, and however much I doubt they will fit in with The Swarm, I'm still gunna wait for opening day to see what its like. However, this could go either of two ways; it could be a really awkward performance and everybody will just blank the band, or they will be amazing and the atmosphere of the area will be enhanced by their performance. I do hope for the second of these two outcomes, and that Thorpe have made yet another good move regarding The Swarm, but until Thursday I don't think it's worth arguing over how good this band will actually be.

As the train passes over the final inversion, you can see some of the station under neath it. The brown barriers are in but from the pace of the train, there's not much opportunity to get a decent frame with a good view. You can see some of the paving as the train leaves the Zero-G roll and you can also see the second water effect pond has been filled. There is no decent view of the rickety jetty though so there is still no news to report regarding it. I do hope Thorpe do something with that empty land after the brake run though. Even though I know they wont, it does seem a bit empty compared to the rest of the island...

Some lovely theming updates for Oz'Iris. The attention to detail is marvelous! (Credit to a CoasterForce member for posting the pictures over there) Anybody who said Shabhala would ruin the view of Khan clearly had something wrong with them because this view is really quite something...

Pretty decent song with some lyrics which are worth pondering over. It premiered tonight on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show and I think it will go pretty far in the charts. Good to see Plan B back!

I'd like to pay my tributes to this absolute legend who unfortunately passed away last year. It wasn't until last night I found out that '99wasup' passed away after his life support was cut off. He needed his second double lung transplant in 4 years to help him live with his cystic fibrosis and the doctors said it would be better for him to die as the transplant wouldn't have helped him. The video linked below helped wind up many Thorpe Park Mania members both in chat and on Skype and I think he deserves a little bit of respect for his rather strange approach towards video production on YouTube. I think I might be going that day with some mates so although I'm not officially attending, I'll defiantly stop by and say hello! I have a house party the night before so my mates may not be up to going but if I do get the opportunity to visit on the 17th I'll post here in advance.

Don't get me wrong, this is with out a doubt the best station I have ever seen and I think the theming and floor are both amazing but the first thing that came to mind when I saw this station was that it did look a bit too normal. I agree with Adam and Josh in saying the floor and theming will most likely erode or tire out over time and that will add to this already amazing ride station, but in my opinion it still does look a bit too new. I really can't wait to see the caravan/lorry or whatever it is ride panel, and the entrance theming. I'm sure they will compensate for my critical viewpoints regarding the floor.

Wow, this looks immense. Only thing I would say though, does this not look too 'new' to any of you guys? Don't get me wrong I love it and it looks incredible, but after the Church roof has been ripped off, doesn't it all look a bit to spotless and tidy? I know Thorpe can only make the station look destroyed to a certain extent due to H&S but I do hope the themeing is scolded and burned like the plane fuselage just to make this devastation a bit more realistic.

Partially as a tribute to the legend who was part of making TPM, and partially due to the large sum of hilarious photos on his Facebook account, a Marc Simpson appreciation thread had been set up to commemorate his existence.Is it the woman in Black?

This is looking like a bit of a Skyrush, it looks better and better as the construction progresses. I really need to get myself out to PA and ride this some time soon!

At the end of the day, Top 40 music is what fits Thorpe's target audience. If the old entrance music was played outside this year people would be like: ''da **** is this?'' The top 40 music keeps people happy in longer queues to buy tickets/enter the park and if the entrance music was being played over a long period of time, I'm sure it would get on peoples nerves. Yeah, the Top 40 is not the most suited music selection for the entrance but if it caters for the target audiences entertainment needs and helps keep a lively environment then I'm sure it will make most guests at the park happy.

As much as I would love to come to one of these, I doubt it will happen for me anytime soon so I bought out the pessimist in me and voted for 'No' and 'Not interested'. It would be great if one of these could get organised though!
