^ Yeah, I did thinks about them. Enviroblock I think they're called. I know it's been mentioned before and there was a reason why they aren't used.

Legoland
Looks like a bit of an incident at the Legoland Hotel: Official LEGOLAND Windsor We can confirm that the LEGOLAND Windsor Hotel was evacuated at 4pm yesterday - April 13 - when a potential problem was spotted in part of the swimming pool roof. All guests was escorted safely from the area and the hotel, but it appears that a small part of the pool roof structure has collapsed. The emergency services were alerted as a matter of procedure but Park engineers were quickly on site and the situation under control. The hotel is operating normally although the swimming pool area remains closed. Source: Official Legoland Windsor Facebook page The page also mentions a guest screaming at people to get out and the public outside in swimwear! Not good for a year old building.

Chessie are restricted on what they can do with the grass car parks. It is green belt and they aren't allowed to Tarmac them. A few years ago they redid the drainage on them, but seemingly it wasnt effective.

Photo Pass 2013
^ Yup, same offer Merlin wide. Only discount is available on a single ride photo. Pretty crap from Picsolve this year.

Annual Pass Entrance
For the record I have a pass bought from Chessie during the January Sale but only redeemed (printed) 2 weeks ago. This pass has worked at Thorpe fine. Including on the car park barriers. However my old pass, printed at Chessie in 2012, didn't work anywhere at Thorpe. I was told it was a fault with any pass from 2012 upto Feb 2013 printed at Chessie. A reprinted pass now would solve the issue.

Annual Pass Entrance
My recently renewed annual pass from Chessie worked fine on the parking barriers last week! Sorry! Thorpe!

Annual Pass Day?
Hi, I'm going on Saturday guys, how busy will it be and do you think all the rides will be open? Thanks. I would say that a number of rides struggle in the extreme cold and may not open or open late. The forecast for Saturday is for very cold. So just beware!

I popped in to Chessington this morning to sort out my MAP and Dragons Fury was unavailable as well. It probably opened late but wasn't when I left!

Ticket Prices/ BOGOFs And Vouchers
^ Looking at the MAP website the discounted tickets for friends and family are only £15 for children. You have to collect these on park as they check that you have a valid pass before issuing them. Visit http://www.merlinannualpass.co.uk/for-passholders/perks.aspx and click on Friends & Family. Used this many times

Thorpe Park Trip Reports
Probably because the weather was horrendous! Very wet most of the weekend.

Zufari
^ Park opens 20th March and Zufari on 27th March. Although all dates are subject to change

Annual Pass Entrance
The annual pass entrance is to the right of the main gate. It is signposted and you generally have your pass manually scanned. Ticket holders go through the turnstiles. But my guests have gone in via the AP queue before without issue. As long as they already have their tickets it shouldn't be an issue

Chessington General Discussion
^ Not with my 5 year old who was ecstatically happy to be doing her first ever Vampire ride! If anything it's gonna be Legoland. But looking at the weather forecast probably not gonna go anywhere!

The Swarm
Yes, it was that long... 1 train op 3 Special mention MUST go to the pair of ANGRY GOONS at the start of the day who had a go at the staff for not letting them on the backwards section... It was utterly embarrassing to see and it gives enthusiasts a REALLY bad name... You are not wanted at these parks if you're going to treat staff like crap just because you can't be the first people to go backwards... So glad I spent the day with a group of enthusiasts who just love the social side and don't care about being the first riders or whatever... Yup, I was in the station at that point! Got offered backwards without a ticket too as the rows were empty. Didn't experience anything more than 25 minutes though on my 5 times on the swarm today

Annual Pass Day?
Saw opened at lunchtime. Maximum queues one I've had all day was 20 minutes for The Swarm, and 25 for Colossus as someone threw up. I've been pretty impressed actually, much better than last time. Everything is on 1 train. Nemesis just swapped trains over.

2013 Changes
'A new age of live action horror' we have do we? Hopefully this means new mazes etc. And hopefully we can get rid of saw alive and a new maze there Doubt it! Nice big sign says it will be back for Fright Nights!

^ There is a drop off & pick up point at the entrance from the main grass car park. It's actually signposted to the right before the car park barriers

Stealth
Saw closed early a couple of weeks ago so they could practice evacuation procedures. Maybe it's the turn of Stealth.

Chessington 2013
^ I agree with Merlin on this. They are writing a history of Chessington over 25 years and the park has massively changed. Firstly in its transformation from Chessington Zoo to Chessington then as the park has developed. Just look at the map from 1987 to see the changes! Granted there haven't been many recent changes but it looks like the Safari Trail will be good.

Merlin Deals
If you wander round Tesco quite a lot of their own brand stuff still has the 2 for 1 vouchers on it. Just depends on stock levels as the newer stock doesn't have the vouchers.
