  1. Loving the Jamflakes clones storyline. May need to reoccur in future meet trip reports.
  2. I'm gutted James, I might not see you now for a while
  3. Here's what everyone's been waiting for, the Legoland meet movie, well part 1 anyway because the movie is so long it had to be divided in to two halves. Enjoy Part 2 on it's way shortly.
  4. I would do but when I try ad vote it sends me off to another page & removes my votes (not sure what's going on).
  5. In terms of dates, I think ican do the 10/11th August and 31st and 1st September. I cannot do the first two due to various reasons. P.S for some reason it's not letting me vote.
  6. I think it would be brilliant if the park opened the coasters later after park operations because it would offer an exciting opportunity to fans and possibly mean more revenue for the park.
  7. I wouldbe strongly interested in an Oakwood meet however I would need a lift there and back due to the excessive distance and the fact I currently can't drive. Other than that, I'm up for an Oakwood meet.
  8. That's quite Impressive Stretchy, with the idea of name tags for elements of the ride.
  9. Lol, Princess Cornflake's magic tower. Great part 1 Peaj, can't wait for the following trip report sections.
  10. In terms of roller coasters Thorpe could add that haven't been done so far, Woodie (either an air time monster or looping one) Woodie hybrid (like rattler) Hyper coaster with lots of airtime (like shambhala or millennium force) Flyer (but that's going to be similar to Swarm &Air) Something completely new not done yet Stand up coaster (possibly not impressive enough) Not too many other options really.
  11. I say replace Spinball with a new fun family coaster, one with thrilling fun airtime, twist and turns and one with a capacity of over 900 an hour as well as having a colour scheme and noise level that Won't detract the park area. Maybe something like Knightmare would fulfil this successfully though that's more of a thrill coaster than a family one.
  12. To be honest, the location of this at the moment is not too bad. Okay, it's not a brilliant location but its within the Neptunes and Amity areas and the theme therefore is quite coherent even with the nearby Swarm devastation theme. Also, the ride presentation is noticeably better than a few years ago too because some shrubbery is starting to appear now though not near the amazing standard of the original.
  13. Doesn't look like a room to stay for any one who wants a chilled out stay or good nights sleep. It looks very disorienting everywhere especially in the bathroom. Still might be worth experiencing a marmalisation there once.
  14. When I last rode it during the ERT, I found the ride a little bit rough but it wasn't unbearable. That being said, I found it roughest coaster that day as Colossus was running surprisingly smooth.
  15. Next ERT? Probably Saw for its 5th birthday.
  16. Went on Colossus yesterday and the ride was surprisingly smooth and came off without a headache and this wasn't within the front row. I don't know whether its just the second train (which I think was replaced or heavily refurbished this year) or the ride is getting smoother.
  17. In terms of park operations yesterday, they were mixed. Some rides were operated well while some weren't cough 'Rush' cough.
  18. In terms of Sonic Moving, I would be surprised if it moved to Thorpe with fury down the road and also there's no area foot marked for a coaster that size. In terms of relocation, I don't know if this will ever happen even with tower's intentions as it would cost money just to move and rebuild the ride.
  19. I agree with Ethan, this definitely was the best meet so far of the year, I really enjoyed getting 6 rides on Inferno, the interesting tour of behind the scenes with the ride which included seeing the tunnel area and also the restricted place where the ride's track is located which is surprisingly close to the ground. Some people were lucky enough to see the lift hill too. Other factors that made this meet the best included the great turnout of people old and new of different ages and it was great to see many new faces. I also thoroughly enjoyed the after meet meal (AMM) which was the first time I was able to attend one within a meet which I thoroughly enjoyed despite regrettably ordering a red hot sauce with my meal (). I would like to thank TPM and Thorpe for organising this excellent opportunity and everyone who attended who without wouldn't have made this possible. Additional thanks go to fish for giving me a lift from Thorpe to the Harvester and Ian for helping directions with my taxi home. I look forward til MOS
  20. In its early years, Vampire was considered a thrill ride (which back then the uk had no B&Ms, shock wave or PMBO). I think through time when newer rides have appeared, it's started to tame down in appearances when twenty years ago most would see it as thrill coaster while to most now, it is seen more as family coaster (whether the train change had anything to do with it).
  21. Yes! I would love to see a woodie at Thorpe park. I just hope they can market the ride in a way that it can be successful and appeal to their 'main' target audience. I also hope the structure and noise can also be justifiable as woodies are louder than steel ones.
  22. Seems harvester is the winning place ATM. Can't complain though as that's one of the places I want to go. The salad station, the rolls plus tasty food too at reasonable prices.

    This Or That

Books because there's missing details in the films. Ministry of sound or fright Nights?
  24. I should be able to make the meal also, however will need a lift if its not at Thorpe. I also very much doubt we will be going to Marcdonalds for an after meet meal .
