that lift is "revolutionary"
-
They'll get it most likely. Thorpe seem to have a fairly good relationship with the council.
-
The whole thing looks a little half-arsed to be honest., like they couldn't be bothered to finish. Maybe more theming in the enclosures would help as well as the cave finale making sense...
-
And who wasn't surprised by the indoor drop the first time. I love it when new people ride it because they're so surprised.

sorry, but how is the thorpe park app new for 2013?
anyway, yeah that looks quite bad.

Thorpe makes millions in profit every year. Millions.
I don't buy this whole not-caring-about-experience-merlin-thing otherwise we wouldn't get **** like Swarm, Smiler.. and wouldn't get inferno budgets would we?
I kind of agree with this TBH. although they make some weird choices, can we honestly say that merlin haven't significantly improved the guest experience at their theme parks? and this is obvious in all areas, food, attractions, continued investment in theming, etc.
I think there must be a reason for the lack of tunnel, so I guess we should wait and see if anything changes.
-
I wonder if maybe they'd have to replace the entire tunnel if they were to rebuild it, because of health and safety. Could this be plausible? I don't know much, but it seems like something that may happen.

Ok, The Lord of darkness's entire extended family was killed in a horrifying accident involving an overweight elephant and the cast of glee. Now in their memory, he'll sing his heart out!
I can see it catching on

Just one question...
X flight beat the swarm...
Huh.
-
Can it have glitter too? That way we're going to make x sector ZAZZY!!!!

Hold on, rope>thematic tunnel?!
Well I'm done with the world, so...
NEMESIS INFERNO>NEMESIS

Yes, it's the new fashion for rollercoasters to "disturb you psychologically" it seems. It's just marketing nonsense, and the Smiler will not really have that affect on your mind. And the study into how "rollercoasters work best when structured like a story" is probably made up; I mean what they are saying is true, but theme parks over the world have been storytelling for decades, you don't need scientific research. They are just trying to reintroduce understanding of 'theme' amongst the public, by advertising the "marmalisation" concept more than the ride itself.
Or maybe they're being uber sneaky, they'll release the study saying storytelling does no good, that way Merlin can build rides without stories to their heart contents, because no one can complain about it!
IT'S A CONSPIRACY, MAN!

I'm starting to think you're not a fan...

I'm looking forward to see what changes have been done to coral reef, as its been closed for a few months for improvements. Not sure what though. Does anyone here know?
-
Yay!
-
So, what does the game actually show us?
-
It's quite a good game actually. Slowly unlocking stuff. Those flashing lights! Eek!
-
Well that's... A train...
-
The map really doesn't show how steep it is. At least say, universal Hollywood shows the two levels thing

"Because we've got nowhere else to go!"

Hold on, but wasn't he just saying bad, but didn't josh say good... I can't keep up with this sort of conversation. When did "forum-ception" become a thing?
